PSN/XBL - Ranked Character Usage / "Popularity"
zeth07 replied to zeth07's topic in BlazBlue Online Play
Honestly speaking, both systems probably only sold 15k-25k each outside Japan. For the JP numbers (PSN) it was at 36k before the US release and it apparently sold 38k Week 1 in JP. Now it is at 56k and sales are at ~63k. That difference can pretty much give a ballpark idea of how much it has sold outside of Japan, then just add some arbitrary amount for the # of people who haven't played it online. My guess for PS3 would be 25k-30k sold outside Japan. Now for 360, no sales numbers even showed up during JP release. And now looking at the number that have played online on 360 2 months AFTER US release it gives a pretty good reason why. 10k have played online, if we're generous we might say they've sold 20k+ total for 360 Worldwide. Obviously we have no idea how accurate the "sales" numbers are but all things considered, it is not a good look for Extend no matter how you look at it, especially for 360. To give a better idea: CT (PS3) = ~507k Global CT (360) = ~323k Global CS1 (PS3) = ~270k Global CS1 (360) = ~188k Global CSE (PS3) = ~63k "Global" - I don't think this is accurate at all at least compared to the others, but considering how many have played online, it could be close enough. CSE (360) = ????? (10k+ at least I guess) In other words, they need to step their shit up with the next game or else things aren't going to get any better. -
Yea, gameplay tells are one thing and leave it up to the other person to figure out who you are, but everything else you can keep to yourself so it should be a non-issue which is really what I was talking about.

He's been in the PSN chatroom with people while playing, so it's kinda obvious if anyone has ever been in there at the same time with him. Meaning I don't think he's trying to "hide" it. shhhhhhhhhhhhh

What would happen if you've played more matches on PSN than me?
-
Linhua + Bang's Subordinates: This was basically my idea for how it would ever be possible for Linhua to be playable (+ Bang's Subordinates). Story-wise she'd ask Bang for help/training so she could go after Litchi, but he had his own thing to do so he got his subordinates to help her even if she refused. Gameplay-wise she'd be an "Assist" character. Each of Bang's subordinates would do something different. So this sprite edit came from that idea and I decided to try and make it last night when I was bored, lol. Kokonoe:

You should've stayed in the room with me and gigaitachi.
-
GGs gigaitachi and Genesis-OmegaFFX. If that was someone's alt, I have a good idea as to who it was but I'll keep it to myself lol. If not, GGs random person.

Nothing should happen to the thread because of this stuff. It is about the game and it is about netplay. The stuff that should be dealt with should be blatant off-topic posting and direct personal attacks in a non-gaming way (which most people don't do anyway). There's a huge difference between the stuff that used to be posted and this "shit talk".
-
It's probably because you like to brag and boast about said netplay matches all the time. Which makes it kinda retarded for YOU to say that.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U70SgRDVcBo That's the one I used. Hopefully you can get it fixed.

Tager stand blocking in the air???

Looking for a 'casualish' group to hang out with online (PSN)
zeth07 replied to Evertras's topic in BlazBlue Online Play
Use this thread to find matches: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?13724-PSN-Match-Finder-GG-thread Since you posted your info in the ID thread, I'll eventually friend request you and then send you a chat invite into the PSN chatroom. Beyond that I would advise looking in the ID thread and friend requesting people yourself who are within a reasonable distance from you and just mention you're from Dustloop. -
I honestly have no idea what you're going on about. Half your posts make no sense.
-
Doesn't he play on both?
-
You're joking right?
-
I mean it makes sense in theory. If one of Bang's flaws is he doesn't have a legit anti-air, the simple solution would be to not be on the ground. It's just a matter of putting that theory to use and seeing if it pans out, lol.
-
Nothing is stopping you from doing one yourself or any WC person for that matter. Why do people feel like the EC/MW people are obligated to do things for WC on netplay? It's very annoying when people say that stuff and I've had to deal with it in the past and was nice enough to do it for them at the time.
-
The best answer is to really NOT be on the ground to even get into that situation, but that's not realistic. You just gotta constantly be in motion (in the air) and use your extra mobility to your advantage. Think like Tao, just flying around the screen doing whatever the fuck she wants until she gets a random hit or puts you in blockstun.

No, YOU are the only person who seems to think people should stay away from the community in any sense of the word. Literally NO ONE else talks like that except YOU. All I was saying was if you want it to be for new players, then state that up front (in stream description at the time, in the calender description, and in-game with the Beginner icon). That way you can make the decision to kick someone if you feel they are "too good" for the players and it would be perfectly understandable given the context. But if you sit there and say ANYONE can join, don't complain when people aren't playing the way you want them to. I'm pretty sure Jyosua, as I keep mentioning, does it to where he'll have it be for "scrubs / new players" in one instance or "open" in another, if you feel the need to set some standards then you should do the same so it is clear to everyone else instead of complaining when people aren't doing what you feel is the "right" way to play against someone. Stop making this shit way more complicated than it needs to be and stop overthinking EVERYTHING about the "community" and the way people play.

Why did I even take the time to make any kind of understanding of what you were trying to do, when you just go and say shit like this.

[CSE] PSN - ID Thread / Chatroom Invitations
zeth07 replied to zeth07's topic in BlazBlue Online Play
Why do I get the feeling that "your sis" is actually you yourself....but whatever. Moving on. First post updated as of this post, only a few people still need to accept my friend request for chat invites (or not). -
Like when you're doing a FT5 with them and they switch characters after WINNING a match, lol. It's like "ok I lost to X character, gotta make this adjustment, (opponent picks Y character), FUCK."

It is a video game, and it is netplay at that. "Respect" someone and "Don't be an asshat" has little meaning in the context of the game when it comes to skill levels. As I said, if you insist it is "all skill levels welcome", then you can't then get mad if people choose to play the way they play. Don't be like Blade. You're basically trying to make up your own set of rules for the game and telling people the way they can and can't play with rather vague "rules" that are in your head. Some people would say that "trolling" is just them playing for fun so it is not something people should get mad at. This is very different than if you said "Beginners Only". You said you had fun in the last matches we played, and yet I tried to Astral you at least once and could've tried more, after a few matches I tried to consciously not use nails, and for the most part I wasn't going in hard against you. Some might say that is "trolling" / sandbagging, and yet you had fun. If you're doing this for "new players", than say it is for beginners only, don't make up rules and try and get people to change the way they play just to "be nice" cause not everyone will do that. EDIT: And if your room is open and you're streaming, not everyone looks at Dustloop or your stream page/calender entry to see whatever "rules" you might have posted.
