I guess you misunderstood what I was trying to get at. It's not really about me getting randomed out, but actually other people I play against losing to other Bangs doing the random shit. LK, I know this probably doesn't relate to you, but how do you feel about players getting randomed out? Or how would you feel if you saw a person who you usually have competitive matches with (while using Litchi), lose to some other person (also using Litchi) who was basically being completely random and somehow managing to win against that person who you usually have good matches with? Is it because you both know what you're doing and expect things to happen, so when that random person is seemingly just pressing buttons it catches the other player off guard and they somehow lose to it? Or is it a sign that being more random can actually help to a certain degree? And I'm not talking about doing stuff that would be considered trolling, i'm talking about stuff that would make you ask "Why did he do that?" and "Why did that work?" or "Why is he losing to this person?" Just curious on what your thoughts on that kinda situation would be.

In terms of making it like the CS combo thread, I don't think that's needed til we get to play it ourselves. I guess it wouldn't hurt to at least go through the CS2 thread and just update that 1st post with any combos people have mentioned. I think that would be more than enough of a start since it is 40+ pages to go through. And it's not like we can test stuff out ourselves. So between all those pages, I'm pretty sure the combo list would be fleshed out enough til we get the game. For what it's worth, I am working on compiling a combo list of my own but I haven't had much time to work on it up until now. Now that I do have time to work on it to a certain degree, hopefully I can get a lot done and be able to share it when I'm all caught up.

Obviously if you looked through this thread you'd realize people have been posting combos. Whether or not the first post has been kept up to date is another story. Besides mentioning the moves changes, this is basically the CS2 combo thread. We can't control the 1st post getting updated with everything that's been posted. So even if the thread was "CS2 Combo Thread", we could post a ton of combos, and still it wouldn't be any different than this thread if the list isn't updated. By all means if you plan to play Bang, why don't you take it upon yourself to help and do a combo list for everything that's been posted in this thread or every combo you've seen in videos? Not sure if this is the place to ask but, Dustloop has been loading rather slow for me lately, and it isn't my net because every other site seems to load up quickly just fine. Any reason why? Sometimes when I go to make a post it'll hang for a while, then suddenly when it brings up the next page it's giving me the message that I have to wait 60 secs to make another post as if I'm posting 2 messages at once or something. Ragna, Makoto, Valkenhayn, Mu, and Tsubaki's are all easy to land since they can be comboed into off quite a few things mid combo, if I remember correctly at least. Ragna probably being the easiest, if anything because he gets Heat so fast. Or I think Makoto's can work as a reversal?...I honestly don't know simply because I only play Bang, so I'm just going by what I've seen / heard / read somewhere. Rachel's can be setup like a trap if you have them in the corner with George out, I think. Other characters can combo theirs off of Throws or really random hits that are probably not normally thrown out a lot or likely to land. As for tricks? If it's the easier people it's not hard cause they can just combo into it mid-combo after multiple hits. If it's the characters that need throws or random hits, you can do tick throw setups or just plain whiff an attack then go for the throw. Most of the time you'll have to obviously have it in your head that you want to go for Astral. And most of the time the other person will realize you want to try and Astral them. Nonetheless it makes matches interesting when you're specifically trying to Astral someone. I always have fun trying at least.

Back on 12/24 in a Ko-Hatsu video he played Tsubaki apparently. 190 PSR at 42 wins / 56 games played if that's how it's supposed to be read. And he was playing Tsubaki in the Nagoya Street Battle as well I guess. A little more research I found another video from A-Cho from 02/05 and it's the same Tsubaki player from the Ko-Hatsu video (Default Tsubaki and same name on the account), and as of that video he's was at: 1,325 Wins with 1,807 matches played and 203 PSR. This is all assuming it is the same Nezu that played Bang. In the Ko-Hatsu video from December the Hiragana at least says ねず for the Tsubaki player, and since the same person is playing in A-Cho videos where Nezu was prominently featured, I'd say it's him. EDIT: So no more Nezu or Satoshi, but now Shadow is back to playing Bang sometimes, Dora is still being Dora, Den is still around, and we have quite a few other Bangs. Of course with them being able to sign-up for tournaments under different names and being able to change the stuff on their player card things, it's kinda hard to accurately keep track of who is really who.

Almost makes me want to try and show up on Saturday if you guys are sticking around for it. I'll have to wait and see what's up.

I think I saw his name at some point in all these CS2 videos, but I think he was playing a different character. Or he's just been going by different names in the videos. Or he really did fall off the face of the earth.

I would try to give you a real reply for your questions and why it isn't a "fair" comparison, but it's obvious that's not what you're looking for. But using a real sports example: I almost look at it like American Soccer vs. European/South American Soccer(Football). It's almost the exact same situation when you really think about it. It'll be funny to see how LK answers them since he has answered every question in a "serious" manner, even when they aren't even serious questions.

That isn't just doing it with the crossing though. In CS1 you could literally just do alternating "9 dash" crosses. In that combo he's actually doing downward dashes before the crosses. I can't exactly tell if they are 2 dashes or just 1/3 dashes, but it isn't exactly the same as the CS1 crosses which were in fact easier. You can tell he's down dashing because they aren't really going any higher into the air. While in CS1 if you did the alternate crossings you continued to go up in the air til you slammed them back down with j.D. I'd say if anything it's going to be harder to do, unless you could already do the extended version without the crossing ones in CS1 consistently.

-Fix your combos -Stop mashing -j.C isn't the answer to everything -Manage your nails better -Condition them to actually block before going for command throw (especially one that isn't hidden behind another move) OR at least wait til you have 50% Heat to be able to do the RC combos. That's my two cents at least.

Dora did this combo a little while back and I remember it: Done on Hakumen, Hakumen was at Player 1’s exact Starting Position at mid-screen, with Bang being Player 2 and starting the combo on the right side. Possibly got oki off this, or else the Hakumen just teched late. Not sure if the CH will matter or not. (CH) 5A>5B>2B>6C>air dash>j.4C>j.623B>(wall bounces)>d.5C>6D>623B>2B>5B>j.A>j.B>j.4C>dj.C I'd say this will be one of the BnBs assuming it works on everyone. Since he was able to carry to the corner and still combo even though Hakumen was at the starting position, I'd say this combo can happen quite often. It's like a in-between EXACT mid-screen and a corner combo. Because relatively speaking, it was still mid-screen.

I may not be a respected player, but you should've seen the reply I gave huey after he asked for "help" from those videos. Unfortunately because of the current conversation, I just PM'd it to him instead. And the fact that it was insanely long... Still waiting to see what LK says in response to huey because I'm sure I could use the advice myself.

Character designs look interesting to me at least. Person on the far right seems cool. The red pants person and the person to the left of them (one of the main characters I guess) also seem kinda interesting. I'll check back on this game again.
