whoaaaa crazy mvc3 system details: - no negative edge (a capcom fighting game first?) - No more superjump cancelling normals (?) (I'm not 100% positive on this, but I couldn't get it to work) (awwww no suki cancel!) - With some limited exception, sweeps don't really "knock down," they mini-launch (auto-roll on recovery, so no OTG after sweep, only juggle) - Tags must be blocked high (omfg there's got to be a way to set up a 2 character on screen at the same time unblockable glitch) - Double snap is still technically possible, but it's much harder to do on reaction, due to lack of OTG options. Furthermore, when you relaunch assist, they just fall out after a very short time (I only got 2 launches with the setup I used) (buzzkill ) - Flight lasts approximately 2.1 seconds (that is not a typo); for comparison, in MVC2, Doom and IM's flights last 6+ sec, Magneto's is 8+, Storm and Sentinel's are 12+

From the Ryu section of the MvC3 strategy guide: "Ryu is one of the better characters at punishing crossover assists from a challenger: simply blast them with Shinku Hadoken! If your opponent’s point character is guarding the beam, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 does not consider the beam to be a combo on the assist character; this means the entire hyper combo will do un-scaled damage to the assist in addition the assist’s 50% damage penalty! A single Shinku Hadoken will damage a crossover assist for more than 50% vitality if the point character is guarding." mvc3: DON'T GET SHOT

hahaha wow Dark Phoenix: "Got to play Mahvel last night. Most of what people are saying is true. Dark Phoenix + X-Factor = gonna make newbies rage. She can easily take out all 3 characters. She doesn't even really need combos once she gets a super. The super does like 30 percent chip also, is full screen and is a projectile so unless u have something that covers the whole screen really fast on block even on block its pretty safe. Her super is instant death if anything hits that is cancellable. If the super actually hits u like off a combo, ur dead. Even one landed homing missle to super = gone. She can launch like up to 4 of those homing missle on screen at once and 2 of them come out on each rep. Her little mini lasers she can pretty much surround herself with as well when she's in dark mode. She has a Cinder form KI style special where she turns into fire and flies at u and does like 25 percent chip and can combo into anything on hit and is safe on block. Her trap special takes that makes a phoenix wing takes up like nearly all of the vertical screen space in Dark mode. Like your only chance of geting around it is waiting for it to dissapear or super jumping over it. If i beat my friends 3 characters just by mashing on shit with Dark with Xfactor...i can only imagine. I mean yeah she can die in combo...but she can kill everyone in one combo too and probably has the game's best keepaway and rushdown. Its literally like fighting a mugen boss. You either kill her or die instantly trying. " " Oh and yeah when D.Phoenix its activated she creates a force around her that pushes you away like Gill's ressurrection. Which basically allows her to start spamming u with shit for free as soon as she comes out." Sounds hilarious.

TM Network is older than I am, so to you children it's like an ancient. Fist of the North Star is also older than I am, so I guess it's only fitting that it gets treated like a sacred text. As far as we're concerned, it's been around literally forever. What's actually terrifying is that in the field of computer graphics, a lot of the founders of it are still around and still active. You could actually go to a conference, and someone could quite reasonably say, "HUSH! YOU ARE IN THE PRESENCE OF A LEGEND!"
