Just to figure out what he does, huh? I'm feeling pretty stoked. There's really no other characters besides Hakumen that interest me. Arakune is kinda cool, but I'd be damned to play a character that plays like that. I need to see some valkenhayn videos =_= Platinum looks like May. :o

Now I can scratch Jacob off that 'list of people.' Next stop, Xavier.

Just one more for good measure.
-
just kidding, more bad things happening

CT Hakumen. I'm done here.

Interesting. Good explenation of the punishes there.

You mean the "free meter" super, that if you see you just jump back barrier instant block for like 3 stars of free meter? I'm not confident at all in 2C's projectile cutting capabilities in CS.
-
I'd agree with this. Also, I realized That Seasons beatings is on October 15-17. I have to been in Greenville on October 24th. O_o So basically, I got my dates mixed up and thought SB was on October 24th weekend

This, especially against characters who like to zone such as lambda and rachel. when they take a CH 4C, that's my opportunity to safely close distance on them.

Block. Barrier Jump back can be another option, and look for an opportunity to air dash away. She's probably going to Oki you with her Supers, don't panic and just block. Remember the supers are all mids, so pay attention to what litchi is doing, only when the super ends, because that's the only time you have to do something back. If you're desperate you can go for a risky yukikaze to escape, if you want to burn the meter and want to risk getting kara-thrown.

Where there's a will, there's a way.

No, but I've been approaching the situation differently. Rather than trying to get the combo down, I've been focusing on the super jump cancel portion of the combo. I'm not even trying to connect the jump 2.A. All I'm doing is the combo over and over again, trying to super jump cancel. I've also been watching inputs at the bottom of the screen, just to get the super jump, even if it's a late cancel, just to get a feel for it. the thing is that you don't *have* to super jump cancel to get the combo to connect a lot of the time. But if you want to always get it in 100% of situations, you have to sjc.

Yup, I got him on my F list. but I was actually playing CS all afternoon yesterday, LOL!

Valkenhayn looks fucking awesome. I'm totally gonna sub the shit out of that character.

Keyon, that's you in 30 years. I'm so sorry bro

I've been having a similar issue. I've been thinking about maining comic book color Hakumen. It's sleek, looks cool even on low def televisions and it's unique; I haven't even seen many japanese players pick that color (much less american Hakumens). Then again, I like zombie DLC hakumen. Unfortunately, not all the consoles are gonna have that color either. And I want to be consistent rather than just picking the DLC zombie-man, and Comicbookuman. So I am leaning on comicbookuman. Definitely going to sub Baikuman though. Love that color, too. xd Does it look like you are gonna be able to have that practice this afternoon? Yesterday I decided to actually pry myself away from Starcraft and practice BBCS. rofl, Dwaine sent me a message on xbl yesterday "WTF NO SC2?" or something like that. Lol. Spent literally 5:30 - like midnight (with breaks) in the lab. I've learned the Ragna specific, 2 star, 4.5k damage corner combo. Now need consistency. I still can't super jump cancel for shit and it's raging me. Happy Birthday Rick James AKA Deadly Dolphin, AKA Keyon

Ever play Hakumen vs Arakune? You wanna know what pro level Hakumen players give advice for in that matchup? "Good Luck." You wont even find jap videos of CT Hakumen players who are pro, playing against arakune. You don't even *see* the matchup. You literally have to do random shit and hope arakune takes something, and you have meter to fuck him up if he does. Then you hope he doesn't burst immediately and reset the situation and then you die. CT Hakumen vs Arakune: Do random shit, hope you win. CT Hakumen Vs Lambda: Play patient and go slowly and maybe you win. Bad things still hapen to you. I went to bed having nightmares: *VWAM VWAM VWAM VWAM VWAM VWAM* DOUSHAI HENKO *VWAM VWAM VWAM VWAM VWAM* RAPID! *VWAM VWAM VWAM VWAM VWAM* DOUSHAI DOUSHAI HENKO. NU Win!

They've had the japanese mook literally for ages, it's about time they started getting it up there. Also, Litchi didn't go thru nearly any of the shit Hakumen had to deal with. I literally laughed when I told you 7-3 matchup with v-13 and you were like damn.
-
I find the easiest way for me to do it, is to simply dash forward then roll 63214, hcb motion. It's fluid for me and it comes out everytime for me that way.
-
You should. Hakumen's Hop cancelling into hotaru/tsubaki is a powerful tool in his arsenal. You should learn to hop cancel tsubaki and hotaru. I like to hop cancel hotaru to condition my opponents to block when they see me doing it when I have lots of meter. This opens the door up and lets you in.

got back from srk and read that. ahh well. It's okay though. If the game isn't in stores tomorrow, that just means I can spend some time with Starcraft 2. Damn you Starcraft2, why did you have to come out now. Of all times, when I'm looking to bring my game up to the professional level in Blaze.
