  1. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?10715-BBCS2-Summary-amp-Impressions Looks like our old friend that we all know and love is back to his CT status. And by old friend I mean Arakune.
  2. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?10715-BBCS2-Summary-amp-Impressions kune'd Also I'm kind of sad you're switching from Ragna, Prototype. You were always one of the player's I identified with Ragnas.
  3. If Mu can't keep even Tager out then she should just get removed from the game. So that shouldn't be a surprise :P
  4. :8/: welp :vbang::vbang::vbang:
  5. Also I can't wait for Arakune to be S tier. It will happen, mark my words. :P
  6. You're switching to Makoto? She might not be any better off anyway. I'm sure Ragna will be fine. He still has the best reversal in the game. You don't need to do a lot of damage per combo, just be able to do resets and land hits.
  7. I guess I just see it as an acceptable tradeoff for the conditioning and such you have to use to land one, like the payoff for an overhead, except it can still get broken. However, in the context of CS2's changes where most combos do around 2-3k midscreen (so far) it's acceptable to have them do less damage. I just don't want it to be so low that it makes them not worth doing, when you could always go for guaranteed damage off a hit instead.
  8. Does that necessarily make them too strong, though? Or just not braindead to break. I mean, just because there isn't an cover-all-bases option to get out of it doesn't mean it's too strong, right?
  9. They give you a lot of leeway in breaking them though...
  10. That's what I thought. Well, it looked more like CT to me. He only got 4k in curse... I'm sure they'll find new combos though.
  11. Well, he still hits hard, in the corner... I was just looking at his match with Noel though. She did like 4k easily and he was struggling to do 3k. Looks fun though. Also I'm not sure if his C moves actually got faster, but it might seem that way because he can followup with it. That Haku wasn't following up j.C with 5C > 3C. That could mean it's not possible after all... also the combo he got off j.C did more damage than the other usual starters. I like the idea of giving the game more "turns" though. Those matches had a lot of back and forth. It wasn't like fighting Litchi where you just have to get hit twice, basically, and lose. Although that all depends on whether it stays that way.
  12. Yeah, he looks pretty nice. Although it's weird seeing him not doing that much damage. I wonder if he's still supposed to be a hard hitter (relative to the rest of the cast). It doesn't seem like it. Some of his stuff seems so much faster. I felt like I was watching him on fast forward. Also it looks like we'll have to do away with our famous 1 star = 1000 damage rule... because we'll be lucky if we get that.
  13. It's possible that he's still solid, just that other characters are better.
  14. Shippu does 4000 damage in Mugen, no matter when you do it. That could be a great finisher.
  15. Oops, wrong thread.
  16. Oh, I didn't realize you were right in the middle of some matches, lol. That's cool. We can play whenever, I don't really have a set time for when I play aside from when someone specifically wants to.

  17. Hmm, one of the posts said that there was less untechable time on j.C, meaning you couldn't link another j.C or 5C > 3C anymore (goodbye corner knockdown), but according to this one it looks like we still can. I'm not sure which one is true.
  18. Jesus Christ I think you broke me. I went into training mode and I can't even do combos anymore, wtf.

  19. Yo teach me Litchi IT'S TIME TO FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE
  20. :) Well, I'm sure if you play me enough I'll get more experience with the matchup and give you a harder time. Good luck on those finals, everyone I know is studying their butts off. It feels weird since I'm out of school and work now, so that old school schedule that used to always be running in my head isn't there anymore and I can see everyone else still in it.
  21. Your Litchi plays so differently than Lord Knight's. Good stuff. I can see you've been keeping at it since CS came out.

  22. Oh, and as for your question :P I HAVE A FEW EXCUSES There wasn't anything wrong, really. I just haven't fought Litchi in CS, so it was all new and mind blowing to me. The last time I played Litchi was against you in CT! All her new moves, like that weird dash thing and that overhead that doesn't look like an overhead keep raping me. I was mainly trying to figure out what the hell was going on, and trying to see what kind of things you could do and what kind of things I could do to stop them. Also I kept dropping my combos, but that's what happens when I don't do training mode to warm up. I've found if I don't spend like 30 minutes in training mode before I go into a match I tend to do a lot worse. Also I don't really play CS that much, except randomly with folks I like (like you, but we're never on) so there's that. I used to play CT like four hours a day every day, and with CS I play like ten matches a week. So this should be it for me this week. :P Also, I'm bad. ;o CHOOSE ONE

  23. It means "cross your heart," it's a reverse DP motion. For Tager it means his Spark Bolt charge.
