  1. It'll be fine. Hakumen's had worse in the past. He's still an all basics character so solid fundamentals will carry him far.
  2. Most everybody's damage is in that range in CS2.
  3. Don't force yourself to play in a way that is unnatural to you. Just play the way that fits you but use all the tools at your disposal while you're doing it. If he's hitting you by DPing during pressure, you should just bait out the DPs until he gets scared to do it, and do moves that let you recover in time in case he tries, like 2A a bit and see what he does, not commit to a big slow move he can DP easily. Also be on the lookout for when he has 25 meter. If he does the D DP, and releases the second part before it's fully charged, you can punish that too. It's inefficient compared to what else you could do, but you could also 2A him out of 6B. It won't let you get a big punish like countering it will but it would interrupt his pressure.
  4. How much damage are we talking :P
  5. Better than mashing out 7k combos right :P
  6. Also, if you're only going to use 1 star, 2-3k isn't bad. I pretty much use the lower star combos so I can always have some stars on hand. Also you can do Throw > Gurren > hop 5A > j.A > etc. It's a little tricky to get those links down at first but once you do it's very helpful.
  7. I'm surprised it doesn't prorate from Renka...
  8. Hey Full Auto. I noticed you were posting again. :) How's it going? Have you been playing BlazBlue anymore?

  9. I loved the clips I saw from that show. It was freaking hilarious. Is there anywhere where I could see the whole thing though?
  10. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?10715-BBCS2-Summary-amp-Impressions Looks like our old friend that we all know and love is back to his CT status. And by old friend I mean Arakune.
  11. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?10715-BBCS2-Summary-amp-Impressions kune'd Also I'm kind of sad you're switching from Ragna, Prototype. You were always one of the player's I identified with Ragnas.
  12. If Mu can't keep even Tager out then she should just get removed from the game. So that shouldn't be a surprise :P
  13. :8/: welp :vbang::vbang::vbang:
  14. Also I can't wait for Arakune to be S tier. It will happen, mark my words. :P
  15. You're switching to Makoto? She might not be any better off anyway. I'm sure Ragna will be fine. He still has the best reversal in the game. You don't need to do a lot of damage per combo, just be able to do resets and land hits.
  16. I guess I just see it as an acceptable tradeoff for the conditioning and such you have to use to land one, like the payoff for an overhead, except it can still get broken. However, in the context of CS2's changes where most combos do around 2-3k midscreen (so far) it's acceptable to have them do less damage. I just don't want it to be so low that it makes them not worth doing, when you could always go for guaranteed damage off a hit instead.
  17. Does that necessarily make them too strong, though? Or just not braindead to break. I mean, just because there isn't an cover-all-bases option to get out of it doesn't mean it's too strong, right?
  18. They give you a lot of leeway in breaking them though...
  19. That's what I thought. Well, it looked more like CT to me. He only got 4k in curse... I'm sure they'll find new combos though.
  20. Well, he still hits hard, in the corner... I was just looking at his match with Noel though. She did like 4k easily and he was struggling to do 3k. Looks fun though. Also I'm not sure if his C moves actually got faster, but it might seem that way because he can followup with it. That Haku wasn't following up j.C with 5C > 3C. That could mean it's not possible after all... also the combo he got off j.C did more damage than the other usual starters. I like the idea of giving the game more "turns" though. Those matches had a lot of back and forth. It wasn't like fighting Litchi where you just have to get hit twice, basically, and lose. Although that all depends on whether it stays that way.
  21. Yeah, he looks pretty nice. Although it's weird seeing him not doing that much damage. I wonder if he's still supposed to be a hard hitter (relative to the rest of the cast). It doesn't seem like it. Some of his stuff seems so much faster. I felt like I was watching him on fast forward. Also it looks like we'll have to do away with our famous 1 star = 1000 damage rule... because we'll be lucky if we get that.
  22. It's possible that he's still solid, just that other characters are better.
  23. Shippu does 4000 damage in Mugen, no matter when you do it. That could be a great finisher.
  24. Oops, wrong thread.
