  5. So, do you still get the +3 frame advantage from IB'ing a multiple-hit attack if you IB the first hit? I always wondered about this and it'll make punishes and pressure reversals much more viable for me lol.

  7. Couldn't they just jump cancel Hotaru on block or did they get rid of that in CSII? I've played a shitload of Hakumens and I'm now just starting to question that lol. In addition to jump canceling, they can just use Drives to fend off untimely punishes. It's one big mindgame playing this guy.

  9. Nope, never mind. I played Haku for a bit and then went back to my mains... it felt odd, it felt... wrong. All those links and the limited movement, it just doesn't feel right. I remember why I never picked Haku in the past. His fighting style just doesn't suit me. I need to be running around all over the place and pressuring my opponent non-stop. The counters and Hotaru are extremely tempting but not enough for me to adapt to this type of limited fighting style.
  10. Yeah, I have to ease down on the TK mix-up against Haku. TK Hotaru hurts and it shuts down every option that stems from TK Swallow.

  12. Speaking of pushing buttons on reaction, can most of you 5A Jin's 6B on reaction? I can't seem to do it for the life of me and that move is hella slow :/ I'm gonna grind the shit out of my reactions with that new multiple sequence replays feature in EX.

  14. I just had a look at the raw EX frame data and here's some things I was able to make out of it. 2D is +1 on block. I didn't wanna believe it but it's official now. That move is pretty much useless for resetting pressure as it is easy as hell to IB, leaving you at -2. Good for breaking Primers, horrible for pressure. The startup and recovery are exactly the same though. 6A is exactly the same as it is on CSII. j.B is the same as far as start-up, active, and recovery frames are concerned. Fubuki B is 2 frames faster (15 frame start-up). DP C is the exact same. The air Ice Blades are all the same. Everything else is more or less the same. The 2D nerf was a little too much though...
  15. Guess I'll be the only one from Indianapolis repping BB if I do manage to go hahahah. I'm a bit disappointed that the alienation has officially been made and that "anime games" are now in their own league. Oh well, it's for the best I suppose.

  17. lol, they finally figured out how good that move is. I'll miss the frame advantage but as long as 5A still hits crouching opponents (which it still does) then all is good.

  22. I use macros for pretty much everything... Bursts, OS Throw + Rapid, Barrier, and Throws. The sad thing is that I've used all the buttons on my DS3 and don't have any left for taunts lol.
  23. I'm wondering that as well, just what prevents the 6A > 2B combo from happening? There are times where you might tag someone with AUB 6A trying to jump out without barrier blocking mid-screen. Someone should try it out, 6A AUB > dashing 2B > stuff mid-screen.
  24. That should be a staple tip when fighting Valk as any character in general lol. 5B[w] will blow you up, that shit is close to being the best AA in the game.
