  1. So do I lololol Edit: Don't you usually have to do Heart Car on an aerial opponent in order for the Heart Car > 6C link to work? Does Heart Car have more untechable time or is 6C faster?
  2. Bwahaha, I'm gonna do the same thing. Get Jin to 700 PSR or something and then just play Platinum. From then I'll just play player matches with both Jin and Platinum according to my opponent.
  3. Bleh, I just noticed that the DLC palettes haven't been uploaded in the Sprite thread and I'm not good at doing manual recolors. Sorry man, I'm gonna have to back off on this one :/ Edit: Actually, if you're willing to wait then I can just ask somebody to recolor it. You don't want the sprites to move at all, right? Also, do you want default color Mu or something else?
  4. I didn't ask him but I'm assuming he used Photoshop, he recolored this image.
  5. Gotta thank Murki for it, all I did was crop and re-size it lol.
  6. Oh God this is just perfect, thanks man :D
  7. Man, I get bored really fast watching Jin match videos nowadays, including Ren's. It has come to the point where I've seen most of everything that can be done by Jin, the rest just depends on how solid the player is.
  8. Take as long as you need, it's frustrating working on small details when tired or after spending too long on something, that much I know lol.
  9. Cake is yum-yum in my tum-tum. Edit: By the way, you wanna play Cake? I haven't played you since forever.
  10. I don't know, whenever I picture a cake I picture white frosting with the strawberry/cherry on the top. The other colors look more like candy though lol.
  11. Give it a try if you're feeling confident, just remember that his eyes are pretty much the same color as his hair.
  12. *Reads gigantic wall of text* That's really fucked up about the shit that happened at Season's Beatings and the douchy sponsors not letting their sponsored players even touch BB. You hit the nail right on the head for everything else, IMO. I have a personal reason as to why it's difficult for me to go out of state and out into a major, I'll let you know more through a PM if you're interested, it's shit I can't just disclose here. Outside of that, I've done my part of supporting the tournament scene in Indy and that's going to the tournaments and signing up for them. BB was only supported by the TOs here 3 times at max, one was CT and the other two were CS I believe. I made it to two out of three but the TOs just dropped the game completely from the local tournaments. Why? Not many people show up for it, it was a rare occasion when we actually got the minimum of 8 entrants to play. So why won't people show up to these? You've already explained it, all of it, no need to go over it again. I'll get back to locals once I fix my car with my poverty ass and try to get as many people to play BB as I possibly can, which doesn't seem very likely since most people there prefer to play SF and Marvel... This, fucking this. I'm not into the whole "let's get on our knees and beg EVO to get our game out there". No, fuck that, I don't see the point in getting our game out there when all that's going to happen is that we'll get even more people hating on it through the forums, the stream chat, and even in person at EVO. The fact that seemingly shitty games like SxT and MK9 made it there as opposed to BB is enough proof that the people at EVO just hate BB and probably other "anime" games. I'm not even mad about that, I'm mad that people are making such a big deal out of it. So really, fuck EVO.
  13. If someone can recolor this image using the white/blue uniform, with blue trimming palette (First row, third one on the right) then I'll bear your children XD
  14. Done It's like this image was made with your request specifically in mind lol That's way too vague, point out the exact time at which Litchi strikes the pose that you mentioned: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDyKq9eAYD4 I don't know what Mu's [6D] pose looks like, I'll try it out later.
  15. I'll handle this one, sounds simple enough.
  16. I'd like to request a sticky for this thread since it's one of the more useful threads in this sub-forum.
  17. I feel like doing 9~236 is the easier way of doing TKs, I rarely ever drop them this way as opposed to doing the correct TK motion. I use both methods, one when pressuring and the other when not pressuring. It might just be me though lol.
  18. If you want to do TKs the easy way then do 9~236 during pressure. You'll use the blockstun as a buffer, hold 9 during block stun and quickly input 236 shortly afterwards. It's much easier and more consistent than doing 2369. It only works during pressure though, so outside of that you have to learn the proper TK motion.
  19. Ooh, didn't think of RC'ing mid-CDT. I'll have to give that a try although quite frankly I'll probably just end up using my meter somehow else in a real match.
  20. Nope, CDT prorates way too hard. You can probably get around 4K though.
  21. Could you try doing 5B > 2C or 5B > 6C? I tried in CSII as Noel but I get counter hit before the 4D comes out. Must be a glitch but I wanna confirm.
  22. I meant to use 5C after blocking 4D, of course we don't wanna do anything during 4D, maybe a jab but that's about it lol. I hear that about the training mode, I'll see if I can get one of the fellow Jins to try it out.
  23. The moment the opponent is sent flying by the final hit of CDT.
  24. Disregard that "this post was edited by Moi_X7" in your message. I derped and accidentally clicked on the edit button instead of the quote button lol. I'm just glad you need meter to get that kind of damage out of it now. There's not much that can be done after a 2C, we could try frame trapping again with 2C > 6C but that gets beat by IB 5A, 2C > 236A gets beat by 5A and Drives, 2C > 6B is pretty much outta the question since the gap between 2C and 6B is huge. If we're going that far and we know you're going to push buttons, then we can always take the risk of doing a ghetto frame trap with DP D if we have the meter or if your back is facing the wall to make it worth the risk. Jin has a lot of options after 5C, he can try to frame trap again with 5C > 6C (gets beat by IB 5A) or 5C > 2C (doesn't get beat by IB 5A), jump cancel to reset pressure and bait Drives, TK j.236C to bait 5A and 4D, or reset pressure with 6B if we've conditioned you into not pressing buttons. Of course there's an answer to those options just like there's an answer to your answers but at that point it depends on the Jin and the Noel and how far they've conditioned each other. As for our 2D to reset pressure, yeah I mentioned that above but at that point it's the same answers to your answers yadda yadda. Jin pressure isn't too scary since all he can do to you is get you to block unless he has meter. Could you test those frame traps in CSX? I set up the dummy to do these frame traps against Noel, and I, as Noel use 4D between the gaps and I always seem to get counter hit. That shit is weird since 4D has frame 1 invul so it might be one of those training mode glitches in CSII. Gotta make sure, so try it out for me when you get the chance, will ya? It's not easy frame trapping characters with reversals (specially Hakumen and Noel) but just now that we have answers to your answers. Speaking on that, could you tell me the holes in the Drive series? I know that we can grab you after 2D and there's not much you can do about it, you can 4D but it's too slow and it won't be able to punish the throw attempt, you can also use Spring Raid but that one is way unsafe on block. If you do 4D then I guess we can try to use 5C but that won't work if you use 2D afterwards. lol fucking Noel XD
  25. I guess it depends, I'm just now starting to work on ways to deal with the opponent after a throw tech. Usually when I get thrown and I react to the throw by teching, I'm in a state of slight confusion and I'm not in a position where I can respond offensively. My response in this situation is to just back off by jumping back, an automatic response that I need to get rid off. However, if I feel like the opponent is going to tech my throw then I have my next action already prepared that depends on the opponent. One example would be my Platinum against a Ragna. He techs my throw and since I had a feeling that he would tech it, I have my next action prepared, that which is dashing 5A. That thing will beat most of Ragna's stuff at that range. If I see that he's just jumping back then I IAD > throw next time as soon as I see him hit the air. Point being, if you're the one who wants to throw then instead of reacting to the tech throw, have your next action already in mind. The moment he breaks the throw, is the moment you're ready to continue with your assault. If he doesn't tech throw then you have plenty of time to hit-confirm the throw. If you're the one being thrown then it's best to be on the defensive, that is unless you can react to the tech throw and be mentally prepared to use whatever on reaction.
