Well that's a relief, it would have sucked if 6A had a worse frame disadvantage now that it no longer breaks primers.

As time goes on and if most people find that link to be too difficult, then I might have to change those j.2C > j.C > 66 Sekkajin combos > to simpler stuff like 6B > 66 5C > Sekkajin in the combo thread. We're all about practicality here, we don't wanna be dropping combos for like 100 more damage and 1 or 2 points of extra heat gain lol.

I can never, ever do the sj.C > j.C > j.D hammer loop variant, I can never pick them up after j.D(2). By the way, does Rachel still get caught by the bubble after doing 6A > 236B > Bubble oki? Bitch always gets caught by it, sometimes it's a red beat but most of the time it's a blue beat but that shit ruins my oki since you can't get much out of the already heavily prorated combo.

I'll try my hand at a combo video too, mostly scraps from what you guys don't use lol. I'll probably use something from Yousei Teikoku or Kajiura Yuki, don't know who they work with. Those company cats have been fairly lenient with me, they give me warnings and block my stuff on certain countries but they never take my videos down lol.

Excuses, excuses people, now get out there and grind those combos. They're not that hard once you get the timing down.

Edit: It's nice to know more than one character, counter-pick against characters which have a bad matchup against either of your characters lol. "Tager, huh? I'm going in as Plat since she dominates that match. Lambda? Going in as Jin because I need his Ice Blades and quick normals as well as his decent anywhere damage."

Haven't seen him in a while and the times that I did see him, he gets overshadowed by Yamachi and Aruya.

I went ahead and added the easier versions. What's the standard 6A RC mid-screen combo look like? I'm thinking... 6A RC > 66 5C > 6C > 2D > j.2C > j.C > 66 5B > 5C > Sekkajin > 6C > 214C. I'm guessing that should work due to the 6A and Sekkajin untechable buff. I also remember seeing this air throw combo: Air Throw > AD > j.2C > j.C > 66 5B > 5C > Sekkajin > 6C > 214C.

I can just imagine, 2D will still wreck Platinum's shit, just without the herp derp 4K+. I'd say that I would just use Jin against her but the match-up is practically the same lol. Pretty much this, you play solid and throw some gimmicks out here and there to keep the opponent on his toes. Pfft, screw switching to Hazama or Ragna, I'm switching to Platinum lol. Bubble oki + TK Swallow in the corner has got to be the most fun and effective thing out there. I won't really switch though, I'll just sub Jin, sub him hard.

lol, I hear that, I just don't feel comfortable if I don't play white Jin. Sometimes I'm a second too late in picking white Jin, the match starts and I start pressing buttons and then it hits me: I'm the black Jin. "Hey bro, you can't be doing that, that there is my color". If I barely win the match then I feel that I'm deserving of the white palette, if I lose then I die a little inside lol. It's a good thing that no one picks the black and yellow palette for Platinum and if they do then bubble gum Platinum is just as godly.
