Umm, you're not supposed to dash cancel anything in this combo, you just do dashing 5C but no dash cancels. You have to dash a set distance after DP B and then do 5C. The DP loop from a 5B/2B starter is one of Jin's most difficult combos, it's going to be tough for you since I'm assuming that you're fairly new to BB(?).
-
I would actually recommend that you do 5B > 5C > DP B > dashing 5C > 6C > DP C > 5A > 5C > 2C > j.D > dashing 5B > 5C > 3C > 214C instead of the above. The timing for DP C > 5B is too tight, I really only do the 5B variant combo on Hazama, Lambda, and Makoto because of their huge air hit-boxes.
-
You have to dash before using 6B and start mashing C during 6B.

Questions: How exactly is Bubble faster? Does the bubble itself travel faster? Quicker start-up or less recovery? What's a stagger?
-
Bleh, that sucks. Speaking of moves that whiff, does 5C > 6A > 236B still whiff on Makoto and Noel in the corner? I love ending my corner combos with 236B since it gives me plenty of time to set up Bubble oki + TK Swallow and I found out the hard way that the final 236B whiffs if done using the 5C > 6A > 236B ender on Makoto and Noel. The Air Combo ender might do more damage but it doesn't give you as much time to set up :/ Edit - Actually, it only really whiffs if you do a combo like Stuff > 2C > Bubble > 6C > 22C > 5C > 6A > 236B because they get juggled too high after the 22C. Oh well, I'll just have to omit the 5C and go straight into 6A > Mami.

lol, potential Hammer frame traps ftw.

Ah, delicious new loli: Bat - combo on CH makes this worth the risk now, combo extender in the corner. Pan - same as before, instant overhead and combo extender Cat Hammer - combo on CH makes this twice as good as before, instant long range overhead. Bombs - Controllable trajectory, only 3 bombs are available making it easier to cycle through weapons. Missiles - same as before, RTSD cover. Hammer - Same as before, combo extender and prime breaker. 5B is faster and has a better hit-box. 2C has a better hit-box. j.C no longer has landing recovery and it has a better hit-box(?). Untechable CDT Special Cancel throws. All of this in exchange of silly damage but her damage is still pretty good in the corner. I WANT HER, I WANT HER NOW.

Gah, I really wanna play EX Platinum now.
-
6A CH > 5C no longer works? Well shit, I guess it's dashing 5B from now on to hit-confirm 6A CHs. That and I'm guessing that the 6A RC window is smaller, we'll need to get better at hit-confirming 6A into RC. The new standard corner-swap combo is Stuff > Sekkajin > dashing 5C > 2C > 2D > dash under > 6C > 214C.
-
Speaking of which, I wonder just how much faster her 5B is in EX. That thing is painfully slow and has crapton of recovery, might as well just poke with 2B.

I was listening to random songs yesterday and got to the part in Innocent Sorrow where the music fades for a minute and then returns. Yukikaze RC immediately popped into my mind lol. I feel like using the DP D cross-under combo leaves you at a more favorable position because of the DP C knockdown. The DP D corner to corner combo usually ends with j.214C and doesn't leave you a lot to work with. That and if the opponent decides to Burst then they'll have their back against the wall if they don't Burst immediately after the freeze or a little before the dash under. I'll look forward to you guys coming up with another corner to corner DP D combo in EX though. @Shin - Well as long as it's not that hard to hit-confirm off j.B then it's all good. @Jourdal - I don't blame you, the Heat requirement for that combo is a bit steep.
-
How does the j.C and j.B attack level nerf feel? Does it really make a difference when hit-confirming?
-
Thing is that they don't spam it and I rarely get hit by it but when I do get hit by it, oh man.
-
I mean, he's solid, he just trips over his own feet from time to time. DP D RC > dash under 5C > 6C > DP B > 66C > DP C > 5B > 5C > 6C > DP C (3853 Damage/19 Heat Gain). Not bad, a nice addition to our repertoire. Why didn't we think of this earlier? lol
-
A little over 3K+ is not too bad, I'll manage to keep myself from popping a blood vessel lol.
-
But that's using the 22C ender, right? Not that Ez-mode Bubble > Air Combo? If it's the latter then, fffuuuuuuuuu-
-
lol KC Well, something good came out of watching those matches. For one, I got to see Yamachi style on him. Two, he might be on to something here with that DP D(1) > RC > dash under combo. Doing DP D > RC to go from one corner to the other is not an option in this game, so we'll have to work with that dash under. I'll give it a test, seems legit.

5C to 5K yo. The one thing I always hate in Platinum mirrors is getting hit by a random ass Heart Car into a 4K day-one combo. Here I am dominating these Plats, doing all this fancy 22C crap and bam, I just lost 4K to a kiddie level combo. That's why I very rarely do mirrors, I'd rather just rape random Plats with Jin. Not anymore, Plats are going to have to step their shit up and not rely on getting that lucky Heart Car in lol.
-
I bet that Ragna will get hit pretty hard by the nerf bat in the next installment.
-
Damn Ragna, you scary. I'll never backdash again against the guy, if you're close to the corner then that's an easy 4.5K+ for him if he tags you with a random ass 5B.
-
Yup, I remembered ABS from playing Utage so I used that old ass D.Gray-Man opening song lol. lmao, Ragna gets a reverse 5C > j.B loop in the form of 5B > 5C > j.C and we get... well, nothing lol
-
Actually, I also think that I overdid it with the DP loops lol. Oh well, let's see what EX has in stored for us combo fiends. @Jourdal - Yup, the j.B loop is gone, there goes the Tager specific combos :/
-
I for one am glad that she turned out to be this balanced.
