You could probably even omit the 5A and go straight into dashing 5C > 6A > 6C > stuff for more damage, what with the j.C recovery removed as well as the extra untechable frames from the fatal.
-
I wonder if you can get more than one 6B in there. It'd be hilarious if it were possible, that 6B loop impractical ass combo.
-
If I had to guess, he most likely meant Fighting Game Community. I lol'd though.
-
The Japanese are usually crafty as hell. I just hope they make some unpractical, flashy ass combo videos XD
-
I'm just glad he left a bunch of stuff untouched for when I get around to making my Jin combo video lol. Now I wanna see a Platinum practical combos, combo video.
-
It was bound to happen sooner or later, that's Ranked matches for you. I just got one that said: "Platinum isn't balanced like the rest of the cast". I lol'd.
-
lol, I've done that by accident in some matches. I'll give it a test. In a similar note, dashing 2B goes under Makoto's DP as posted in the OS thread. Edit: Kei is doing some work out there, he read the crap out of those guys. Successfully baited Rachel's last Burst, (not that surprising though, given the situation), successfully baited ID twice after giving the impression that he was going for a reset with 236D and j.236D, psychic DP A'd out of Gauntlet Hades and Rasenga. Like a boss.

That bigger avatar sure is tempting lol. The one reason I'd like to be a mod is to have stuff organized and in order. Like ridiculously organized and neat.
-
You know what? You're probably right, do what your gut tells you and if it fails then just think another step ahead next time. That's of course, considering the "risk/reward" factor.
-
I like that combo, thinking outside the box here. I would actually do something like fake out j.X into 2B, just to be on the safe side, but that's just me lol. Something like j.X fake out > dashing 2B > 5B > Sekkajin > dashing j.C > j.2C > j.D > 6C > 214C. Quite a bit of meter gain, good corner carry, good oki, but crappy damage standing at around 2.1K. The offset here is that you can confirm into 5B, into another mix-up without the use of meter to make it safe.

I don't believe that this is you being gimmicky or creative, that's just you yomi'ing the fuck out of your opponent. You adapted quickly it seems, good shit. I actually do stuff like this from time to time. Examples are how it gets to a point where the opponent is trying to bait my reversals because I do them often whenever I have the meter to RC. Normally, you'd just sit there and block even if you think that you're going to get baited. I said "fuck it", read the bait, and threw the guy. Risky as hell since if he would have used a meaty normal, then that would have been 2-3K easy for him. Then again, I got 3.4K out of it (playing as Platinum). Sometimes you have to take unnecessary risks, go with your gut feeling, shit that just isn't expected. Do it once in a blue moon though because I'm pretty sure the opponent won't fall for the same thing twice (hopefully).

My turn: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubY0bp1_hrI&feature=youtu.be Things that I've noticed I did wrong: - Dropped that first Dream Sally combo near the corner because I thought that it would work against Ragna at that range like it does with other characters who have huge air hit-boxes. - That Pan 5D during that block-string near the end was me trying to do a command grab and failing lol.
-
Heheh, here I was going to to recommend you as a candidate for Jin mod Reasons: You play offline, you're helpful, and you're online (DL) frequently enough to take care of things.
-
Tsk, tsk... Who needs option select throw when you got this much better alternative? As for my "competitive edge", I don't think I have one. My defense is mediocre, my reactions are mediocre, my neutral is mediocre, my yomi is weak unless the opponent is being too predictable, etc. The only thing I have going for me are my combo choices, always looking for the optimal combo off whatever. Going out of my way in the lab to find the best combo for X situation.

So she gets killed by Nu, huh? Nice. I'd lol if she died jumping into the cauldron chasing after Jin who was chasing after Nu and Ragna.
-
Speaking of which, how exactly did Tsubaki manage to get herself killed in that timeline?
-
Ah, so that's how it works, thanks.
-
2B low profiles under 5A[w]? That's good to know.
-
What's the Gallery point system, if you don't mind me asking? Do you get points by unlocking gallery art or something? That aside, this sounds pretty fair.
-
Questions to those that have imported the game: 1. Are all DLC colors available (unlocked) for every character or just those that you have bought in CSII? 2. If not, are all DLC colors available for Platinum, Valk, and Makoto?
-
Swallow Moon 1. Mix-up options: Overhead, barrier cancel into low, barrier cancel into throw/command throw. 2. Baiting anti-airs and avoiding stuff 3. Baiting reversals. Set up the Bubble oki near the corner and go for the TK Swallow > barrier cancel to successfully block wake-up supers and DPs. 4. Combos of course lol If people have learned to block his Swallow Moon mix-ups then it's because he's being too predictable with them. Use them at your own risk, mashy people will make you cringe.

[CSE-CP] Jin Players List and Availability Information
Moy_X7 replied to Chris Chaos's topic in Jin Kisaragi
PSN: Moy_X7 State: Indiana Mic: Nope, shit causes lag for me. Availability: Usually around midnight and the early morning. -
I hear that, Hoshi. We should do something like that. The only other Jin I get to play nowadays is Shinsyn.
-
Yeah, that's what I noticed too when I set the dummy to do it. I'm gonna try it out online when I get the chance, it'd be nice if it did work though. Edit: Yup, it's a training mode glitch. All of my FUUUUUUUUUUU-
