He does need to have over 5 stars, low health, and a Burst to pull that one off as well as being relatively close to the corner. Seems fair to me. @Rishtopher - He does but this one is probably going to be slightly more practical if only because landing TK/hop Tsubaki > Hotaru with 5 stars, low health, and a Burst won't be that farfetched as landing 6D > 8-Star Mugen. Not many people can react to TK/hop Tsubaki on time lol.

From what we've seen, you can only OD cancel moves that can be special canceled. So you can't OD cancel specials or DDs.

Speaking of that, I hope they explain just what exactly happened during the original timeline. It was at the end of that timeline when the Black Beast first "traveled" back in time and manifested itself at a Cauldron from the 2nd timeline. So there shouldn't have been a Black Beast during the original timeline at all. Which doesn't make sense, as that would mean that there would be no need to build the Hierarchical cities, which would mean that Ragna wouldn't have met Nu at the Kagutsuchi NOL Library branch basement, which would mean no Black Beast. Fucking time travel, how does it work?

Well in CSII-CSE, 5D CH > DC > 5B(1, Max Range) used to work. If stuff > 6C > 214B works near the corner then 5D FC > DC > 5B(1) > 5C > 6C > 214B (Whiff) > 66 5A/5B might just work mid-screen. 6C CH > 214B (Whiff), 66 5C works mid-screen so there's hope for it yet.

Actually, the first Prime Field Device and Amaterasu are two completely different beings. The first Prime Field Device did make it all the way inside the Boundary, gained a soul, and became Godlike though. Their creators feared her and couldn't destroy her so they just sealed her deep inside the Boundary.

I'm hoping that it's the first Prime Field Device that was sealed inside the Boundary. Hell that one might even have emotions since I don't believe that the scientists screwed with her consciousness,

Terumi possessed Jin in that particular incident? I thought he was just chilling and instigating Jin into doing bad things along with Yukianesa lol. Then again, it's been too long since I last heard of CT's story mode.

Yukianesa pretty much fucks with his head and "tells him to do bad things". It is hinted that he received Yukianesa a little before the church incident.

There was a point in time when I was interested in this character. I liked his character design, I liked the synergy with Ignis, I liked locking opponents down with Duo Bios, and I just liked the guy overall. Then I played a couple matches with him. Just getting Ignis out in the field is a pain. Not the act of getting her out itself but the act of having to do so every single time you get hit or tech a throw. The safest way to get her out would be to hit-confirm into one of the Ignis summoning specials which take away a huge chunk of her health. If something happens and you get tagged, you just lost a huge chunk of Ignis health and you'll have to summon her again by finding an opening or using a summoning special attack. The you have to watch your meter during neutral, offense, and combos and distribute it evenly. You can have her do wonders during neutral and offense but your combo options will be weak by the time you break through the opponent's defense. Hell they might be so weak that you're pretty much forced to end the combo prematurely, in an unfavorable way, just to keep your wife alive. That really put me off so I just dropped him and I doubt I'll ever pick him up again. Interesting character, bad execution.

Oh, no wonder Take-Mikazuchi turned out to be a weapon of mass destruction that could only be stopped by one of the original units (Tsukuyomi). Let's see... 1. Take-Mikazuchi 2. Yukianesa 3. Bolverk 4. Nirvana 5. Musashi 6. Ookami 7. Muchourin 8. Ouroboros 9. Rettenjou 10. Murakumo So how were the Murakumo made again? I know that the Murakumo are Nox that fuse with the Prime Field Devices that have come back from the Boundary after growing a soul to become these incredibly powerful weapons. Furthermore, why were so many Nox created when only 4 of them were used by the Six Heroes? Were there other unsung heroes who greatly contributed to the Black Beast's downfall (like Celica with her Nirvana)? We don't even know who the previous owners of Bolverk and Yukianesa were.

Since we're talking about weapons and stuff, I have a question regarding the Nox. If I remember correctly, the Nox are made by sacrificing a bunch of human souls and creating a "mini-Black Beast" which is then compressed and used as the core for the Nox. Is that right so far?

Susano'o is just a suit of armor. Hakumen is the name that Jin dons after getting stuffed into the suit of armor. Just because Terumi used to reside in that suit of armor (Susano'o) doesn't automatically mean that Jin is Terumi.

Yeah, if 5C CH > 6B works then 5C CH > 2D should work as well (6B has a slower start-up than 2D). Well that's unless they drastically altered 2D's start-up, which is highly unlikely.

It would have been stated during the final location test if it didn't. Furthermore, Jourdal said the other day that he saw 5C CH > 6B work. So if that gatling works on CH, then 5C CH > 2D should work as well.

Yeah, the "Jin's body does NOT reside in the suit of armor, just his soul" seems to be the most plausible theory.

I haven't seen any footage where someone uses an Ice Blade during OD so I can't really say. I would assume that it does though. As for 5D FC, it really depends on how long 5D's freeze effect on FC lasts. If it lasts long enough for a dash cancel 5B/5C to connect, then there will be some potential for it as long as you're near the corner. Outside of the corner, you're going to have to spend at least 25 Heat or Overdrive cancel to get something worthwhile out of it. Sorry to say but I haven't seen any footage of this happening but if I had to guess, you probably are in CH state during the failed Sekkajin recovery. Plat's Item Equip or Relius' summons aren't actually "attacks" but it still puts them in a CH state. You won't have to worry about it as long as you remember Sekkajin's minimum activation range.
