I don't know, I could never 6a Ragna j.c or Hakuman j.2c with 6a. It's spacing dependent, really. I think learning to use both and being able to recognize when you should use either would be the best way, rather than just say 1 is superior to the other. Edit: For example, if you know the opponent is an IAD happy idiot, 2c all day.. If he's baiting you with double jumps and such, hold back and try to land a 6a, etc. I'm sure you know already.

I can also bring my ps3 if needed. It's obese as fuck but runs cs2 like a champ.... Or a chump. -
I think it's perfectly fine the way it's organized right now.

It's a pain to park in Harvard Square... Not to mention, JP is supposed to have great food. You should just drive down to JP and get some grub there =P I'll join ya -

Dustloop: xntrikcat Handle: xntrikcat PSN: xntrikcat XBL: Do not own. Name: T Games: BB (Mu-12), haven't played much else. Would be willing to learn KoF13. Want to stay the hell away from SF/MvC. My next couple Saturdays are booked atm. I can drop by on Feb. 11th. I made a commitment to go hiking every other Saturday, so I don't know how much I can participate. I live pretty close from the venue though (Brigham Circle area). Sunday works better for me tbh. -
Tager matchup in a nutshell: x.d x n + 5c x n + 66666666666666 = dead tager
-
Wait, j.2c can be +? Was this true in cs2? O.o
-
I'm sorry danny. Who exactly is from Boston aside from me? -_- I swear, if I had a car I'd be dropping by to casuals all the time T_T

Yeah, their styles are really similar, and for a lot of the vids tagged "sakuma," the player names in the corner show up as Keba in Japanese. They might just be the same guy.
-
kind of confused.... Is sakuma = keba?
-
holy jesus I like it

Pretty much copy what sakuma does for this matchup D= I started winning more vs Valk after I listened to C0r and started punching the wolfman in the face. The idea is to make him afraid of just running up in wolf form. Make him use his wolf shenanigans (not that he doesn't, but make sure that's the only way he's going to get in), and meet him in the air, preferably while you're IAD back j.c'ing. One of the most rage inducing matchups though, especially if you drop the tricky 6b timing and he comes back to Lol2c you for over an ungodly amount of damage.

It's all about patience in this matchup. I like to jump around (even backwards, or superjumping, etc) to see what Lambda does. About 90% of lambdas you fight (the bad ones) will do any of these: 1. mashing upback in any kind of blockstring -> air throw her, dash in and 6a her, 6c fatal her, etc. 2. getting way too comfortable with xDD 236a/b/c -> IB them, predict green throws, and you have the upper hand. 3. mashing 6d or 2d to badly anticipate IAD -> Let her whiff, then dash in (most will IAD back) What makes this matchup difficult vs a good lambda is that she has the upper hand in neutral, and can limit your getting in on reaction. If at any point lambda starts getting predictable, that's when you go punch her face in. Also I like to keep things simple in this MU and try to keep her honest. Meaty her every knockdown when she doesn't have meter, don't get fancy with oki, etc. Edit: would like to add that 236a outside of blockstring seems pretty useless.. (i.e. to start setting up steins.) In fact, I drop a stein only when I see her whiff a sword. Though, 1 stein can shift the momentum. Just be safe, like she has VD in her blades.

It's the DP followup. Think it's called ax kick or something

Yeah Cookie, don't get frustrated. That's the #1 hindrance to improving. I do think I've stepped up my level of play since CS1, and that was after playing Tempest Dahlia for so many matches and just losing match after match, not even coming close to beating him. (I still don't, but I put up a fight at least) And it's really all about NOT AUTOPILOTING. Reacting to everything, even when you just dash up and 5c or whatnot. That decision to do it needs to be natural, but logical at all times. (You need to be anticipating, always) It's not difficult to break autopiloting. You just have to remind yourself every round. >.<

CE, all it matters is that you have a small weiner. That's how they do the census, don't you know? "Asian-pacific islander" = 2 inches -
Thanks, will try that out CoR. As for those other combos, thanks for letting me know it took 2 seconds to find em. I guess I had it close to optimal. New topic: Keba looked great in the laste Tachikawa. Strangely he opted for suboptimal combos in some cases (like picking up with 5b instead of 5c or 6a), but nevertheless pretty damn good.

Hey guys, what's a good 6c FC combo when you know you aren't going to carry all the way to the corner? I do something like 6c(FC) 5d 214d 66b 66a j.2c (662b 6a j.2c) x 2 662b 5c 6c x.d SoD (or 632146c) but I feel like there should be something better. edit: this is CS2 still lol
-
It's all about 66 IAD back then j.xD or j.x[D] or j.C. The opponent has to decide whether to rush in and risk blocking/getting hit by j.c or let Mu start the first load of the bukakke lasers. Mix in super jump/ IAD forward to cross, and there you have the non-committal zoning. Like everything else though, if you autopilot this you could eat shit all day.

Valk still top tier huh? Wasn't he stronger in CS2 though? I can see why galileo might want to switch but Haku and Mu both improved in CSX imo...
