You can TKdouble palm fatal her 2D, and it's mostly safe. The most she can punish with is a small hit to air combo or spend meter, unless she calls it out pre-emptively and 6A counterhits it. Also, if you block 2D, IB 5A to punish. For her 4D and 5D, if she whiffs she has to guess, use safe options like jumping over her next gatling until she starts getting more obscure, to try to corner her in terms of gatlings remaining available. Basically, you want to make strong reads to force her to play a real game. You need good reads, or you will die. Try to play safe.

Double edged sword, maybe a little, but Bang has such strong pressure and mix that realistically reducing that is not as big of a deal for him as other characters. It just won't be as autopilot as before, which is another good thing. Just think of how many times you may have been cheesed out by Makoto/Litchi pressure and thought to yourself "What the fuck was I supposed to have done about it?" Well, much less now. I really like these changes.

Also, the changed defensive mechanics, particularly barrier IB, is a huge silent buff to Bang. The closer your opponent is when you are stuck on defense, the more hopeless he is, so having ways to quickly push your opponent out is a huge buff to him just through the system itself.

No, 31 hours played. 8 hrs training, 23 hrs matches.

My execution is still extremely iffy, since I have no training mode to practice. I've practiced everything in live matches, except for probably 8 straight hours in training at first. I'll get it on the stream for sure.

He's a sub I'm picking up, and it's different from my other subs. I had about 10 people tell me Hazama is actually a very difficult character, and I just don't believe it, so I wanted to learn him to determine one way or another which is actually true. At something roughly akin to 31 hours spent on Hazama, I'm still convinced he's not very hard, and I want to be competent with him by 48. Not to mention when I see Hazamas just not using half of his tools I get frustrated.

Well IIRC they buffed the speed of jD then nerfed it.. maybe it's what it used to be again? iw2ma, I think you only think the command grab damage is fair because most other things about Bang are bad. If they improve the character, suddenly it really means a lot to get such huge damage, and as is there is zero thought concerning using the meter for it or not; you just always do it. Buffing other aspects of his game and nerfing reward for command grab is not only a very soft nerf in reality (Abusing the new risk reward is very possible, since people will be less scared of your command grab), but also gives new potential for using your meter in new ways. It's a good change, and killing people instantly for hitting a command grab was dumb.

His command grab reward was ridiculous from the very start of CS1, I'm really glad they're toning it down.

I can see what he's saying though, it's a dangerous meme. Similar to most people thinking you can win SSF4AE simply for mashing on Yun and praying, if people have the misconception that the entirity of BB is outright determined by character strength or blind mashing wins matches, we can send the wrong message. Obviously the viewers should be better informed than that, but they rarely are.

I'm more concerned he probably loses the advanced mid screen BNail combo that was recently made.. that was going to help him a lot.
