How'd you pick your main?

I currently use Hakumen because of his generally easymode combos, and pretty big damage. For CS I am considering Hazama, Tsubaki, or Carl. Carl is my favorite character storywise. He has a really interesting gameplay gimmicky, and I enjoy watching good Carls on youtube. However, he is difficult to use. I'll have a stick by the time CS comes out so I'll see if I can pick him up. Hazama has a really interesting playstyle. I have to try it out. I really only want to try Tsubaki because of her Astral Heat. It is so easy to combo in to it.

hmm i always liked weird characters and big characters so i picked arakune and tager, although i main tager now arakune is still cool i also play yoshimitsu and astaroth :3

At first I thought I was going to main Jin since I was an avid Ky player when I played GG. Then on my seventh day of owning the game, I accidentally picked Noel and I decided to try her out for the heck of it. For some reason, I liked how she played and so Noel became my main.

When I went to pick up BlazBlue at a local gamestop, I planed on maining Jin. He looked like a high ranking military official out to spread justice at any cost. Sort of a badass cop. I played him for quite a bit, but after beating his story and arcade a few times, he didn't really seem like the kind of character I had originally envisioned. I tried out Arakune and fell in love with his playstyle almost instantly. A sporatic, very mobile character. I still didnt very much enjoy his description though, so he's ended up as my sub. :8/: While trying out every character, I eventually picked up Hakumen. Everything I was looking for in Jin, with what I would describe as a twitchy and heavy hitting playstyle. His defense is amazing once you get used to his drive, and his offense is equally impressive if you learn how to chain his specials (half a lifebar in a combo:yaaay:). So I've ended up with him as my main.

I personally love the crazies~<3 nothings hotter than a guy with a few screw's loose. I fell in love with arakune from the moment I saw him (so squishy!<3) and he was easy to use, even without the bug spam (don't dis arakune <-<) and i liked jin but something about him didn't set right with me, he was less crazy and more a jerk, but after using him for score attack cause i wanted to beat it easy (still haven't managed) i decided I liked his style and his plethera of attacks so i'm starting to use him as well

almost the same for me. loved arakune from the beginning, tried him out, but somehow couldnt get into the playstyle. so i tried out the rest of the cast and decided for hakumen. sill by far my favorite character. tried out jin later and became quite good with him too. still arakune remained in the back of my head and with bb portable i started practicing with him. still its kinda hart for me, so much to look out for>_< 6c loops working now though:D maybe hell become my main in the future

Litchi might be one of the only fighting game characters I picked just because her appearance. Then I saw how she actually played, and me being a sucker for combos, it pretty much sealed the deal. <3

Hmmm, this was quite interesting. Coming from Guilty Gear I was a Zappa, Eddie and Faust Player. I was looking for the Weird Charachter and Lo and Behold was well beyond it. Then I 720'd off of an IB has been my main ever since (though is still my sub...he'd really a 2nd Main)

Even though I knew people would punch me, I ended up with Nu. I originally tried Tao but, I can't time her at all... And as interesting as Nirvana is, her whining slave generally turns me off to her... plus, I can use Nu as a multifunctional death machine. I look forward to getting my hands on Lambda. Coming from GG with Jam and Venom... Tekken with Lili and Asuka.

I originally came in as a Millia player, thinking that Tao would be my pick for combos and chains. I love her to death, but I couldn't get into her drive. So I looked to Litchi instead and liked what I found. The flow between her two modes kind of remind me of what I like so much about my Virtua Fighter main, Vanessa. Plus her story's great!! Ragna is my sub, which comes as a surprise. I usually don't like the poster-boys, but his voice acting is awesome and he just feels so 'solid'.

Since im EU and havent gotten my hands on console, i still only have arcade and tournament experience (yeah, played the game for 2 hours and did a tournament *stupid*) I like noel, and Nu, but i think for me litchi is still a winner.

I come from GG but.. i play everyone in GG.

Ah, I remember it like it was last Christmas, which is when it was... I was looking at the character select screen, and I saw Jin, I had played Ky in GG for the small time I was attempting to learn GG before I gave up.

Btw, if anyone wants to help me with that, you're welcome to, but I only have it for Xbox, though it works on 360 too if they haven't shut it down yet. Anyway, I chose Jin, since he looked similar, and while I found him to be utterly opposite to Ky, I connected with him in a sick, psychotic way, a way that I liked...

His move set fit like a glove, and I took only 2 days to learn all of the moves I use currently. I still have about three that I can't perform during ACTUAL combat, so if anyone wants to help me with THAT, feel free. Anyway, when I heard him say, "I just killed a girl who looked just like her." in his sadistic way, I knew he was the one. Lol, and Rachel, while I despise the bitch in her, I love her tactical points, not to mention a counter that I can generally use.

I chose Bang because I liked his theme song and his manliness. He was also the first character that I started using. For some reason, I found him the easiest to play as, and seeing as how BBCT was my first fighting game ever (which I picked up in August of 2009), I decided to go with who I thought was the easiest so I could get acquainted with fighters in general.

Then I tried out Jin and found him pretty simple to use too. I also like Jin because I'm like him in real life in a way. I also like Carl because I love doing sandwich loops. I also felt that I needed to try someone hard for a change. And I like his tophat. And finally, I chose Tager because pulling off a 720 is so satisfying. Same can be said about Hakumen and his counters. And I'm thinking of subbing Hazama (as my... fourth sub? I can't remember. ) because I like his clothes and his JAYOKU HOUTENJIN. And those j.C mashes are fun.

From when i was playing guilty gear i was always geared towards Sol-Badguy. No one has a more badass attitude then him imo xD So when i came to Blazblue i saw Ragna and i was in love with how he played. So atm im sticking with Ragna. Have no idea for a sub though ;/ any ideas?
