axel Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 I saw Nemo play against Imo at Shinjuku Las Vegas before, Imo simply couldn't do much against him.
Zerite Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 The Te V Za matchup is bad because if zappa loses control of the match or doesn't ever get in control, then he will never get control of the match back from testament, short of massive errors on the TE players part, or sick mind games. The fact that zappa's plans mostly get reset when he gets hit and testament's massive screen control and general superiority just make it hard for zappa to get going, and hard for him to even slow testament. I don't know if the match up is exactly 8-2, but it is a really bad match up. Really, really bad.
Kurumster Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm7456736 If that is Nemo at 13:43 then lol just lol
Nakkiel Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm7456736 If that is Nemo at 13:43 then lol just lol LOL it is
Hintalove Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 The comments on the end of that video are hillarious. "Was that really Nemo?" "Nemo, what happened???" "lololololololololololololol"
Zerite Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Nemo ate a lot of really stupid shit in that. Eating two unsummons? Out of nowhere? And that burst at the end was RETARDED.
woki Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm7456736 I like the tags on that video. One of them is (ネモが弱すぎて)つまんねー, which means "this is boring (because Nemo is too weak)." I'm saving this video for others to see. This is just too good, lol. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdIdDa1z7I4 EDIT: They took out that tag... Maybe he was offended, lol.
Klaige Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in awhile. i still see why that match is 8-2. p.s. flukes happen. p.s.s. no one cares about ac tiers anymore.
reaVer Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 The Zappa player was Imo, who couldn't touch Nemo previously XD

woki Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cPBx2_UkPoY Speaking of 8:2 matchup, this one should be very close to being 8:2. Let me know if there's a matchup far worse than this one. I'm curious.
Digital Watches Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 That was just disgusting to watch. Seriously. And come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen any JO beat a semi-decent ZA.
Donutholes Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtVVkTYoifc I think this was way early in AC though, so whatever happens in here probably is outdated. Nor do I know your definition of half-decent.
Digital Watches Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 It's probably just early-AC-syndrome (You can't blame people for not really being good when the game just came out), but I really think that Zappa wasn't very smart in a lot of his decisions. From trying to run-up summon every time he lost ghosts to the really fail way of using the triplets (sj.236D in the corner? What?) to being even more predictable with Raou than Raou usually is, he just isn't playing very well. I don't know if Tomoi has since become the best Zappa since sliced bread or whatever, I just mean in that vid he wasn't what I'd call "semi-decent."
Grey Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdlq0EbmVm8 How bout' this?
Digital Watches Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Not to mention that BLEED is pretty much a beast.
Killerwatt Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Ok, what about this one? It's a little over a year old. First match, the JO player is Jonio. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4s_QJnwKfw&feature=PlayList&p=94149C268ABFEDAB&index=80
Silmerion Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Wait, when did GG start having impossible-to-win match-ups like 8:2?
