You'd have to play games -> have an xbox / ps3 -> find blazblue and like it -> get good at it -> want to enter a tournament -> know about EVO -> be serious enough to want to go -> actually go... lulz. By the time you get through all that it's amazing if anyone is left. :P I'd definitely go if it wasn't so far away and expensive. ;_;

There were those 2 girls from Hawaii but they now live in Arizona or some shit. I don't think they came for SFIV though, I saw them there for GG and MvC2. -Tha Hindu

What wuku means is that he was extremely disappointed that the girls there came with their boyfriends and did not come to play FGs. :lol:

They were there; a few of them sent me text messages while they were participating in the GG tournament. But does that mean that they look like girls? In any case, GG not making it to the EVO lineup was inevitable, so let's hype up that side tournament and BBCS.

They were pretty DAMN good Marvel players (a game that requires tremendous skill at its upper levels), and were more than holding their own against the boys. But anyway, the whole ladies tournament is probably gonna have little effect on Evo regardless, so whatever... Wizard said that his inside sources basically told him CS would not be out in time. Wizard's inside sources are rarely wrong...so I don't get where people are getting the optimism that CS is gonna magically be there. I dunno, just being a bit pessimistic I guess....even if Arksys somehow manages to provide us with cabs it's gonna take at least 3-4 of them in order to run any sort of efficient tourney. Hell, last year there were 10 set-ups and it still took forever for people to run their matches. I'm just gonna keep my hopes low and assume CT is gonna be there.

Kamui Moon Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 $50 dollar base fee for evo i'm just gonna take a wild guess and say that all of that money is being saved for all of the impending lawsuits that the female SSFIV tourney is bound to bring in. it took less than 30 seconds for a sexist joke to drop after wiz unveiled that shit, and dear god the shitstorm that this news has brought is endless. it'll end up being worse than the stalker-cam at devastation. shrug, i'm more than likely gonna be at evo for GG and GG alone. fuck it all, i'll continue support the best game on the market.

They put CT in the official line-up? FUCK THAT!!! We'll show them how we drop it in style. Make all the girls entering the SSFIV Femme Fatale Tourney realize their game sucks and they should be playing CS. -Tha Hindu I was going to hustle money here. So much for that idea.

We could have close to doubled the entrants with the GG players who stood around bored at BBCT since (many) just didn't want to pay $50 for GG. I'd rather see MBAA get in the official lineup since it hasn't got a chance yet and should get one.

Not enough crossover between gg/bb/mb and capcom to get enough players that are already getting evo pass willing to enter :\ Still would be nice to see though. I don't get the fuss about girl only tourney, if it's just for fun why not?
