Pestilence Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Hm... We'll see where it goes then. Well this isn't a traditional 2D fighter. There is no 236+P motion inputs in the entire game. It's all S+4 or S+6 or A+B+C, etc. Also, as slow as it looks, I some times find it hard to keep up with. Especially when combos are like A>A>A>66A>B>B>B>C>C>4C+S. You don't have time to react to the animations, you just have to know what comes next already or the combo will drop. It's deff a change of pace. Although I wish it had (like I wish all modern fighters had) GG's shortuct menu.

She's kind of like Chun Li in 3S with C being her win button instead of fierce. (seriously, her B&B is C>C>66C for like 30% life add a ex-fireball onto the end and it cranks it up to like 55%) In fact this game as a whole reminds me a lot of 3rd Strike. Parry in this is way over powered though. You can parry once during a multiple hit attack, dash behind the enemy and unlease a combo. Few notes of mine about Mikoto combos (mostly cause I have no place else to put these) Throw>C>66C>4C+S does around 50% Throw C>66C>S+C (does around 85%) Requires Max Gauge CC 66 C 6CS AAABB2B66A/B/C (A can cancel into 2CS) AAABB66A/B/C (both of the above are good for parry follow up, and can usually be ex-cancelled at the end but only with a specific ex) Most C combos can be lead into from JC (but not J2C) ...not sure if it's universal but Mikoto can hold down an attack and do 66 and the move will automatically come out when in range. You don't have to release the button. So you can do 2B(hold)66 and get a 4 hit combo. Edited January 28, 2012 by Pestilence

I've tried your combos and those damage is only possible if your tension mode (bar under timer) where damage doesn't scale other wise. ( which I think are their) I'll love to play you however I don't own the game but borrowed thrue friend and system wise. However i do planed to get the localize version and be more than willing to play.

Going to convince my friend to update his so to see whats been changed. Personally I had two things done IMO. Allow air grab techs, and power gauge does not reset over matches. Of course power gauge bonus from Tension mode should be revised.

I did a thread search and found nothing on the topic. Honestly I forgot about the title, despite having early interest.

Sometime soon (within a few days) they should give us more info on the games status, hopefully an explanation for the delays, and a solid release date would be nice as well. SolxBaiken Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 I was once interested in this game, but then it never came out (to NA) :< And now with my Big 3 focuses coming up I can't even acknowledge the game (and it's only on 360 so it will be costlier than all 3 of my mains combined lol) but it does look pretty fun, especially with the changes done to the game in the last patch. It's probably the closest we'll see of a modern Asuka 120%

This is one of those games that i lost interest in, but still kept the preorder. Whenever it comes out, it'll be a nice surprise. And this game has the best announcer i've ever heard.
