Hecatom Posted December 17, 2012 Author Posted December 17, 2012 The game is coming to arcades :O http://blog.5pb.jp/pbbg/ http://pb-ac.net/
SolxBaiken Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 What is up with the initials "AC" lol Wonder if this will be a straight port, port + additions, or whole new game .o. maybe this one will get a PS3 port lol
Elochai Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Still no U.S. release. Maybe my tears will allow the game safe passage into the states.
SolxBaiken Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Might as well give up, it seems the game has more or less been fully canceled... Which is why I hope AC gets a PS3 port, so I can just import and play \o/
Elochai Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 It's pretty stupid though. 7S still claim they're trying to release it (as they said on FB a few weeks ago), but it's whatever I suppose. I wanted to play this back in February ;w;. Ah well; why can't 99% of 360 games be region free?
Nora Kisaragi Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Actually, it was coming off like 7sixty was having some sort of license issue with Phantom Breaker. I'm starting to get the feeling that 5PB wants to publish the game themselves or get another publisher to do it and 7sixty is fighting back hard for some reason. That's just wild speculation on my part though. The game was mediocre though.
wenzel Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 "Delta Factory is bringing 5pb’s Xbox 360 fighting game Phantom Breaker to arcades. The arcade version is called Phantom Breaker: Another Code and it uses Sega’s RingEdge 2 hardware. That’s the same board used by Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R and Under Night In-Birth. Phantom Breaker: Another Code will be in Club Sega in Akihabara between December 22 and December 24." http://www.siliconera.com/2012/12/17/phantom-breaker-coming-to-arcades-on-guilty-gear-xx-accent-core-r-hardware/#IxUxVdH4fv0pCTZM.99

The funny thing all the achievements are in English if you earn any on jp xbox that has been set to English.
DogsofWar Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 The funny thing all the achievements are in English if you earn any on jp xbox that has been set to English. Well the game IS totally done. They're just having problems with microsoft.
SolxBaiken Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Hey guys, at least we'll always have Battlegrounds (apparently O.o) [Mikoto] [Waka] [M] [Cocoa] [Itsuki] [Yuzuha] Hmm maybe it is a conflict between 7Sixty and 5bp/Mages?
Chaoschao222 Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Hey guys, at least we'll always have Battlegrounds (apparently O.o) I really hope that doesn't end up being more than 800 points.... as is it looks like a 400 pointer (but that'll never happen QQ). It's gonna be quite something when PBBG gets released before PB itself.
Elochai Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 New FB update. Also, PB:BG was priced at 800 MSP, and will have a release date of 2/27, for those who missed it (at the bottom of the page).
SolxBaiken Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Ok, so Phantom Breaker: Extra is coming to PS3 [finally!] and 360 [not many details on it] but 7Sixty STILL haven't released the English ver of the original game to the public, maybe something will happen with this version :V
Ichipoo Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Ok, so Phantom Breaker: Extra is coming to PS3 [finally!] and 360 [not many details on it] but 7Sixty STILL haven't released the English ver of the original game to the public, maybe something will happen with this version :VYay, more kusoge for me to play.
Chaoschao222 Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 An update/expansion? I wonder just how popular PB is for it to warrant getting this. I mean, even PBBG got a balance patch (which only made Nagi more broken, but.... ) Wonder if any new characters will be added.... like Nagi~
SolxBaiken Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 At the very least it's safe to assume that PBX will be based of Another Code (the arcade version) which will be the 2nd major revision the game has received (the original console version being the first with it's 1.10 update which is what the NA ver was releasing as hence the original delay). Also PBAC just received an update today and on the character page there's now a ??? so at least 1 new character in X is a given. Also I don't think the "success" barrier is all that high in Japan for any property; that or Japan thinks the more you push it it will eventually sell (enough). Then again since this is made by MAGES they probably have the popularity of their VN pedigree to fall on [even if not that many previously establish characters appear]
Chaoschao222 Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 Well here's hoping it's Nagi, then~ Katana-wielding twintail schoolgirl that uses DAHKNESS and quasi-teleports. DA GAWD!
Elochai Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 (edited) If PBX doesn't get a US 360 release, I will cry crocodile tears. Even though I played the demo, and this game isn't the best, I still want to play it. Edited May 22, 2013 by Elochai
Aloci Posted May 22, 2013 Posted May 22, 2013 So I downloaded the demo for this today... This is a weird but interesting game. Anyone know how to actually play it?
Keo-bas Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 http://phantombreaker.7sixty.com/info/ this get'll you started but its very laxing. Im making a more indepth post since I actually toke the time to study it.
Celerity Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 Are some of the characters console-only? I was hoping to find some Rimi footage.
SolxBaiken Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 The guest characters [Rimi and Christina] are console only. However the arcade ver should be getting at least 1 new character [eventually]. They'll probably bring back the guests for PBX [although since Mages is working very closely with the game, not sure why they were removed at all]
