Really, that's it? I thought zoners like Axl and Testmanet were a pretty bad matchup for him. :psyduck:

Well, you know HOS and I don't, so I guess it's all he does need.

I don't have problems with Axl, I'd say it's no worse than 6-4. Testament is pretty bad but I can't think of anything that would make the matchup easier without drastically changing HOS's style or just giving him a very out of place move.

As for having an option for combos on everyone, IAD loop isn't exactly easy and it's a pretty specific range, so I think having something with those requirements would be perfectly acceptable. I just think HOS relies on charge a little too much for damage, especially since level 2 offers no more damage opportunities than level 1, sans BHB and silly SV corner combos.

I wonder what kind of "system" thingy they will add.

In all honesty, shit can't get any more "Hard" than slashbacking ( don't get me wrong, I LOVE slashbacking, at my friend's house we sometimes have matches where we slashback supers only, and if you guard you are considered a fag~ )

they should make the "secret" moves (Ky's 222H, sol's 214214214PH or w/e it was) and FB>OD's (sol and Ky's 46 moves, return jack arguably) more practical, I mean it would be pretty cool if the flashy moves were just as good as they are flashy.

OD's in general need to be a little better, some are just completely useless, dragon install and goku moroha mode come to mind.

the only real buff that i want is an improvement on chipp's health, nothing justifies his lack of it,and yes, i know he was on crack in his youth, but common

if he is going to be that fragile he needs an insane mixup ability and be more fastest to justify to have the health of a dead man

Ky's 222H is really good as it is. Also Sol's FB>OD follow up is amazing. Gives Combos, It does as much chip damage as Dark Angel and is way easier to get someone to block damage is solid too. Ky's would be amazing if it wasn't for the huge recovery. Like if he could keep combo-ing off of it in the corner you would see it more.

Overdrives are mostly fine. Some aren't very good or useful but for the most part they are all useful.

Not to impose, me being super scrub at GG, but I thought that was the point, sacrificing oki for a bit more damage.

It gives less damage then doing an actual combo. 222H is fine if that is what you think I meant.

But 46D sucks because it doesn't give enough damage compared to doing Orb>5S>2H>combo. (which still gives you your best oki.) If it had less recovery there would set ups in the corner that would make it a decent corner combo option.

Overdrives/second moves to some FBs(like Ky/Sol) are generally lack luster damage options, but you forget to mention they make your combo unburstable. Nothing is worse than getting bursted out of a game wining combo. Arguably, you can try to make them waste their burst and kill them any way, but if you hit some one at low health in a way that lets you connect a super to kill them, why not do it? Not like you get to use that meter next round any way.

As for hos vs Test, it's not really that bad. The only problem I have against good testaments is Hos has a hard time dealing with his f.s. He can't anti air you well, and once you're in on him he takes it like a girl, you just have to play to your strengths and not let your self get too anxious to go in on him in dangerous situations.

Not only that. Most of his stuff prorates like shit, giving him a really poor damage output.

BTW, Ky's mini-rising force isn't that bad. At least it has HUEG horizontal range, and if the other d00d blocks it then there's no big risk. Dunno about Sol's Tyrant Rave (alpha? or what fucking letter does his GGX TR use?), to me it looks like it has the same GGX properties, but I don't use Sol so... :v:

i was just thinking about what some people said about replacing the frc's with force breaks, this would mean that all the chars would have a lot of them if they plan to keep some of the good frc's like chipps teleports, beta blade frc, etc, etc plus the regular forbreaks of all the cast o_O

Maybe I'm wrong, but didn't DAISUKE himself want the opposite when he said he would want to develop a new GG?

I already have a fucking accessible game (BB). Leave GG the way it is.

I don't see Sega dumbing down Virtua Fighter to appeal to more d00ds.

Yeah, they have a flagship for people getting into fighters. Why don't they just have 2 separate games, BB is trying to be more "pro" while the discussions people are having with Pachi imply that they want to water GG down. We don't want the same fucking games. We want two different ones, they have different charms I guess. But still, different games, different mechanics, different reasons as to why they're competitive. Fuck. This is stupid.
