smooshman Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Lol what? The character was mid in CS, he didnt do anything better than anyone else. yeah he did, he did mediocre better than everyone.....
Nov Ganon Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 I love how everyone's complaining, and the jin mains are all http://tinyurl.com/3xbwmfy i feel the saaaammme way lol
Moy_X7 Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 So did Jin keep his 2C > 5C gatling and his 214B's knockdown properties? 5C > 5D is damn good, viable combos from max range go-go. Everyone else, I'm sorry for your loss... *snickers*
Jewdo Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Two things I haven't seen posted here yet (source): Carl + 3D's effect also triggers on airborne opponents. This basically allows Carl to go into a ground combo from anywhere. Hazama - Ouroboros Guage doesn't recover when Ouroboros is blocked.
Skye Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 So did Jin keep his 2C > 5C gatling and his 214B's knockdown properties? 5C > 5D is damn good, viable combos from max range go-go. The new loctest comes with all changes from the first loctest, so yes.
Ownagepuffs Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 5C > 5D? I'm fucking fapping hardcore to that. I'm so with Moi_X7 and Jourdal on this. I see no problems with this loktest. *snickers with Moi_X7* I'm SOOOOOOOO rubbing this in Raiza's face.
Linear04 Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 i think this was just a troll loketest, all of the low tiers got nerfed, haku got nerfed, and literally nothing but good for jin just you wait, jin will be below new haku tier while everybody else gets changes that make sense
NeonCrusader Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 - MUGEN: after gauge depletes, will not increase for at least 6 seconds. Right, because it was definitely overpowered in the first place I love how they've completely ignored jC... Hell, they've actually buffed it.
Mumm-Ra Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Question. 鳥のjcがかなり遅くなり、鳥鳥車輪などが不可能に できるっちゃできるらしい。でもどうやるのかは不明 The part about Arakune's bird>bird>wheel not being possible got scrapped, am I correct if I assume that the added part says that its possible but its "unclear" how? This forum needs strikethrough.
mAc Chaos Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 I think I figured out what they're trying to do with Hakumen here. Everyone assumed since Haku might be too strong that they would try to rein in his zoning, but they've decided to go all in on it instead. They made his C moves even faster, so his zoning is going to be stronger. At the same time they're giving his specials wallbounce properties to prevent his old combos (except apparently 6C) and his counters are just to knock people off him so he can't get damage off it. Haku will zone you out with tons of pokes but if he hits you with any specials or counters, it won't do that much damage but will give him full screen reset. He won't have that much damage, and he'll be even worse up close, but his zoning is better. He gains stars slower so that means he'll have to be less reliant on his non-C moves too... So basically they want to make him Lambda with a long sword. That's the only sense I can make out of this anyway. If it's not this then I have no idea and they might as well be throwing stuff at a dart board. :P
skd Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Hey, at least your ideas are nowhere near as stupid as Formerly unknowns I can kind of see what youre getting at. 6C supposedly slides now, maybe his game is to push you into the corner and keep you there.

Mekki-Maru Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 I liked that Haku who would sandbag until he got 8 magatama, then go for knockdown xx death combo. ASW should make Haku play like that.
BatousaiJ Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 God damn, someone turn on the heat so we can stop the onslaught of all these Jin mainers coming out of the woodworks.
kenja0 Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 I don't think they wanted to nerf everyone... they just wanted to change how everyone plays by giving them different tools. It gets kinda boring to see a character go unchanged and the meta remaining the same. That or Mori wanted to nerf everyone higher than Tager. Mmm, top tier Tagers.

No just everyone but jin, tager got nerfed too so far. I mean, they obviously don't want us to do combos if 5c 6a no longer combos. Throws only guys.
natearistata Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Next loketest, 360B pulls fullscreen if magnetized. Calling it now.
Achtzehn Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 Next loketest, 360B pulls fullscreen if magnetized. Calling it now. Nah you mean 720, and it pulls them from the air too. I really hope we get a release date for platinum soon, cannot wait. Also I hope the fucking misunderstanding that happened with valk doesn't happen again with platinum .
HiagoX Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 In General Nanto ka!'s blog, it says that the strongest characters at the loketest are Jin, Rachel and Carl. So Jin is that good, eh?
Mumm-Ra Posted October 10, 2010 Posted October 10, 2010 http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r85/Judas_Trainwreck/Meanwhile2.png WHY CAN'T I BALANCE ALL THESE CHARACTERS?

I would assume 5c > 5d would be pretty big for Jin. Suddenly he can actually do stuff to standing people instead of 3c 2b relaunch or sekkajin combos. Still waiting for Noel to get something like that.

It's bigger than you may think.
