LordSpectreX Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 why's that? Comparatively, Lambda's zoning pretty much has to take place on the ground. Mu can zone in the air.
Jourdal Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Damn, FU you managed to piss ME off and i love everyone on this forum, shame on you. I hope rags gets some 3C combos back but its wishful thinking...really curious about this "tweaked" damage and hazama you fucked.
Beautiful Death Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Mmmm. Well, that's a huge step up from a lot of other character's 3C's. Guess It's time for some 22C dude stuff. Well, guess it only makes sense that you can 22C off of 3C. f you couldn't when would you get a 22C? From a point blank 2D? Lolz. And going 3C>22C>66>5B>5D>etc. etc. is still damn good damage. It's actually pretty much the same as before. The heat gain potential is still kinda hit, but you can still reach the 50 milestone if you do double belial instead of a double 22C ender. Guess the only difference is that you can't really get anything from a max distance 3C sweep and hitconfirming might be different. Mmmmmm. HRRMMMMMMM. Good stuff Dudena.
FormerlyUnknown Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 so if the last loketest is next week or whatever, then when are we getting the actual patch?
psycofang2 Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 It'll be a blessing so far if that's the case. I'd be scared if he was turned into a pure zoner like Lambda. chances are from his C speed. he will be one of the slowest zoners i have ever seen. hopefully they dont make anything stick.
-Seo Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 I don't think they've said that next week is the last loketest (unless they have and I've missed it), but it's the last one that's been officially dated. Could be more to come.
WolfCrimson Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 You know, sometimes I optimistically wish that after all this testing hullabaloo, it would turn out that these loketests were in no way representative or contributive to the changes the balance patch are going to bring, and ArcSys were just trolling the public for fun, and that they've balanced the game properly behind closed doors (like fixing 5c>5d for Jin, etc.). I don't really like these changes that much, it's like watching a circus performer balancing a plate on his nose, and you're hoping he wouldn't drop the plate. P.S. Is it possible for the changes in the balance patch to be different from the changes seen in the final loketest? As in post-loketest balancing?
Stomoman Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 so if the last loketest is next week or whatever, then when are we getting the actual patch? I heard December 9th for the patch.
kenja0 Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 chances are from his C speed. he will be one of the slowest zoners i have ever seen. hopefully they dont make anything stick. The moment Hakumen's cut barrier follows the enemy is the moment I gtfo and cry in a corner.
Skye Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 As of right now you can lock an opponent with bugs and it will work. I said comboability. As in combo. Not lock down. Combo. Plus f of g does too little damage for me to use meter, since it's in curse, I wouldn't be doing it for the curse meter. The super was useless until this loctest, the fact that there are places where he could use it before, doesn't amount to the incentive to do it.
Blade Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 The moment Hakumen's cut barrier follows the enemy is the moment I gtfo and cry in a corner. I'm waiting for the day they make a change to certain characters that makes a ton of BB players quit. I'll just 'lol' and keep playing.
Klaige Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 I'm waiting for the day they make a change to certain characters that makes a ton of BB players quit. I'll just 'lol' and keep playing. And you'll still be terrible, still make garbage posts, still never do anything at a tourney, and still be free 'lols' for the rest of us. So can anyone expound on this supposed new Hazama BnB? Did they change 6C to make it combo?
firesoul1 Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 I said comboability. As in combo. Not lock down. Combo. The super was useless until this loctest, the fact that there are places where he could use it before, doesn't amount to the incentive to do it. I didn't know it was different! All I focus on are the red numbers! As far as comboability is concerned I do FoG > 6C-C-2C > D bug > j. 6C > Jump Cancel > j. 6C > Wheel. Mind you it does not always work for me.
psycofang2 Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 And you'll still be terrible, still make garbage posts, still never do anything at a tourney, and still be free 'lols' for the rest of us. completely uncalled for. ive read a few and i havent seen anything wrong with his recent posts. The moment Hakumen's cut barrier follows the enemy is the moment I gtfo and cry in a corner. then i wont have to forcefully push ppl into it? im all for it. it'll be useless as well. a moving barrier. unless its slow enough i can walk in it.
XVII Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 then i wont have to forcefully push ppl into it? im all for it. it'll be useless as well. a moving barrier. unless its slow enough i can walk in it. That moving barrier should be an unblockable.
psycofang2 Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 That moving barrier should be an unblockable. a moving unblockable barrier that i can walk inside and it auto switches to move towards the enemy...*squeals* on topic i assume the patch date is for jP only or for everyone? and valks getting a damage nerf. so whats his average damage now?
A.X.I.S. Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 F of G only gave 50% curse, you can't combo into it and does pssh damage. now it has 100% curse and you can combo into it. scary shit.
Skye Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Actually, f of g did 30 percent, even if you could gimmick into it, the reward was ass.
mAc Chaos Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Adventus, the previous changes are carried over. Hakumen is still a pure zoner and the fact that they made no changes means they're keeping him that way for now.
ToastCrust Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 I'm probably in the minority in that I actually like using Hakumen as a zoner. Not that I play him much. But sometimes you just need a change of pace. My D button will get worn out otherwise.
Mumm-Ra Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 ・fマルgが下段に ・ジャンプ以降フレームが6Fに Seems that Arakune's F of G needs to be done closer to the ground? and his jumping speed is slower?
XVII Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Adventus, the previous changes are carried over. Hakumen is still a pure zoner and the fact that they made no changes means they're keeping him that way for now. Great. Just great. Now we know the Black Beast was beaten by a zoner.
firesoul1 Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Seems that Arakune's F of G needs to be done closer to the ground? and his jumping speed is slower? lol wut. Don't they know kune is an air character? Why not have FoG be homing in the air and be done a short distance on the ground? better yet a new distortion has the spider cannon shoot at a 45 degree angle.
eirei Posted October 17, 2010 Author Posted October 17, 2010 Seems that Arakune's F of G needs to be done closer to the ground? and his jumping speed is slower? No, it hits low.
