I'm horrified by every single player saying their character was ruined, failing to see that -all- characters were reduced in potency. Take the nerfs and run with them, come on.

So would I, but whether we'll get one remains to be seen. She's got some nice stuff already with new gatlings and such to make her pressure game better. I think I remember hearing something about 5C being jump cancelable on block as well? Not sure.

Hoping for that 5C air-unblock, right? Would be pretty damn jazzy.

What can be trusted during this Loketest? If Ushidonburi isn't there this time, and there's no videos, what are we even going on? It would be nice if we could see some gameplay/videos ourselves for real confirmation, but who really knows at this point. ┐('~`;)┌

Finally someones says it, everyone is looking at the changes to their character specifically instead of their changes relative to the other changes of the other cast members. Its not like (for ex) Ragna is the only character that took a hit, the whole cast took a hit in some way or another, even characters like Valkenhayn.

Basically wait and see i guess.

Everyone is worse is a children's perspective of the current scenario.

Everyone is unable to kill you in 2 combos, everyone has to work for their mixup, everyone has to work for their defense, universally play more intelligently and have a much better game at the end of it is an intelligent run down of what we're looking at.

These changes look fantastic.

If everyone got nerfed wouldn't it mean that the game is now slower?

I mean I'm all in for balance, but does balance mean that everyone should get their strong points nerfed (even overnerfed in some cases) instead of improving their weaknesses?

No, because all character's defensive choices are worse because of more AUB and guard break was universally upgraded.

And yes, Skye, it is an obvious movement towards mainstream, because that was an aspect of SSF4 or other similar games that was much better.

Don't worry, they'll call the next BB game Accidental Shenanigans and give it the GGAC treatment: everyone has 7k high damage bread and butters with tons of crazy/silly/random moves! Like for some reason Deadspike will have like 16 frames start up, have 14 active frames, and be +9 on block!

Did I miss the Litchi and Bang nerfs? Seriously. Where are they? We've been seeing all kinds of hard and fast stuff that seriously brings down characters who were already mid-tier (Poor Lambda, WTF?) but where are the Litchi and Bang specific nerfs? For all the whining I saw the Bang players doing in some of the earlier threads, it doesn't seem he got hit nearly as hard as most of the lower tier people, and there's hardly been anything in the way of changes for Litchi at all. Are they expecting the system changes to somehow hit the top tier people harder? Even if they DO, they're still going to be the top tier thanks to the nerfs on everyone else.

I just don't get it.

They should just go ahead an incorporate False Rapid Cancels and Force Breaks already.

I believe Rachel's the only one who hasn't received a very noticeable/important nerf yet for CS2, but that's sort of understandable. As for Valkenhayn, it's not too surprising he got the nerf bat considering how many people were saying he's overpowered. I wouldn't really know about that though, as I have a 360. :vbang:

But yes, I agree. The general mentality is "I don't care if you nerf every other character to hell and back, as soon as you touch my main YOU'VE GONE TOO FAR!"

Honestly what made this bb seem slower than CT was the long combos, as most things got faster outside that. So shorter combos, even shorter than CT, may make it seem even faster hypothetically speaking.

Both characters have received plenty of nerfs in the previous loketests.

I guess you have a point there. I just hope that these short combos deal CT damage instead of CS damage, though it doesn't seem like it with all that proration increase and same move proration being thrown all over the place.

Only 5B/5C have air unblockable properties, and not even both have it, for example, Ranga's 5B has air unblockable properties, but 5C doesn't, or thats how I understand it.

Ragna's changes were a hoax, no Ragna changes have been given.

Blade, the Ragna 5D overhead was a fake.

Also, only 5B and 5C are air unblockable. You can still jump barrier to get out of overheads, but honestly, why the hell would you when you can just block and react.
