4B hits. Hitstop ensues. The first hit of 4B is blocked at this time. Nothing happens for 20f (let's use that example). Hence, you have 20f to move your lazy ass to a standing position, in addition to whatever gap there is between the 2 hits.

my problem is this, the way that you posted it leads to believe that you are implying that blocking an attack with 20f of hitstop, gives you 20f to do anything when its obvious that is not the case, the move can have 40f of hitstop if you want, but that doesnt mean anything if the attack is +2f on block

It doesn't, and I'm not.

But I'll tell you what I am going to do: I'm going to sleep. Right now. Hitstop or no hitstop.

Bonus proration has been removed from almost all moves that had it. So, nothing will have more than 100% proration now.

Bonus proration? are they talking about moves like renka and tao's taunt not going over 100p1?

Right moves, wrong idea.

Take Noel's 22C, it has a proration bonus of 120%, meaning once used, the move used after it(at least after 22C's initial use) will do 120% of its original damage(applied after P1 and P2 of course).

At least this is how I theorize it, not 100% sure myself, but I know it has nothing to do with P1 and P2, because 22C only has 100 P2.

A better translation on Henaki's statement:

テイガー強キャラ化確定くせー

semi-lit. "Decision for strong character Tager"

And to try and make sense of it:

"Deciding to make Tager a good character"

Or something. Someone can verify for me.

If they make tager strong then good by scrubby players hello scrubby tager mains.

I took a shot at trying to translate it with a dictionary, and I got something like this, "Decided that Tager is one of the strongest characters." :v:

Take that with a grain of salt till one of the good translators translates.

That is the most likely translation.

I highly doubt Tager is going to be strong, but the fact that he FEELS strong relative to the rest of the cast is a good sign that he might start off in top tier and falter down to mid, which is probably the best I could ask for.

Edit: Any basic character that appears strong early in a game GENERALLY will not stay that strong, primarily due to lack of ways to expand the character. This isn't really the case in more basic games where a character is straight up fundamentally powerful, but in an anime game, a top tier basic character generally will get worse as time goes on.

On that note: unless they were to remove 720, Tager should never, EVER be S tier. Ever.

So everyone's so nerfed that Tager appears to be strong?

And we thought that Tager would always stay low unless he was given a sledge break or something. Well, that's one way, I guess. :v:
