Starlight777 Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 I feel the same way lol. He's so interesting to me; I just wanna see him win! Chaos is the new vanilla Hilda. His tools take effort to use while at the same time easier, stronger characters can just run in and rip his low health to pieces.

Yuzu was doing about 3K meterless and 4-5K with meter in that vid. That's a significant reduction from before, when pretty much anything led to 4K-5K and starting out with meter was several thousand more. Also the combos don't take like half a minute now. Meter is also harder to get; before you could spend meter to extend a combo that would gain all that meter back. I wouldn't worry unless someone finds something that blows the combo system open. Now, all those changes have come for the better, at least I think that there is a high chance that there won't be infinites (or huge combos). But who knows what people might discover. Btw where's Seth? Haven't seen much of him recently, I thought Seth was really popular.

I'm super hype about this game, too. As for Yuzu, she's honestly the only character that I think legitimately needs toned down (though probably not by much, or she'd break in the opposite direction). Beyond that, I don't think the changes to hit stun deterioration and to Chain Shift give us much fear of infinites. 100% meter combos and combos in Veill Off still have high damage output, but aren't super common in actual matches. I'll say this much, from what we have seen... this is a much better game. I rarely see Seth's now too. Yuzu's still crazy popular for obvious reasons. The Seth's that I have seen now have to deal with the change in focus to the game play... with more focus on footies than in vanilla, Seth looks bad since his ranges are poor and his normals are short. That said, his insane moment is still there and can be use to compensate poor ranges and short normals while getting in. Good players using Seth will have to adjust to this change and change how they play. And I have seen a few do so... and show that he is still party time. Yuzu has all that she needs in the new game to be effective, which is all she need in vanilla to be effective anyway (aside from Exe Late's new and shorter combo routes)... the Yuzu army will continue to grow.
