something like an artbook

As said before a normal artbook is impossible, since French Bread apparently doesn't have any "art" of their game - only concept sprites. Well, some kind of art collection that simply includes special illustration from Gallery Mode or something could work, but I really doubt it...

Personally I'd love to see how their creation process works, if they're not doing any art save for concept sprites. That sounds very unusual to me and at the same time very interesting.

Huh? Is something happening to Homing Cancel? Also is Melty Bread not going to support UNiB?

I mean if Dustloop expands and has dedicated sections for those game cool, just wouldn't want any toes to be stepped on.

Mbread does have a uniel subforum, but this single thread gets more attention than the entire subforum sadly :( I just want to help facilitate discussion of the game and exposure of information to more people (i.e. the large install base of dustloop)

Does ImagineWeb allow consumers outside of the country to order? Most likely no though, but I really like that Orie poster. :vbang:

So I basically sign up for a Japanese address and then it somehow ships to me in the US?

Nope you sign up with your own address and they'll ship it to you lol. Tenso does international shipping.

Tenso basically gives you a Japanese address to ship to, for orders that only allow to order nationally, then Tenso ships to you. Or could be used for their shipping service if another company's overseas shipping service is too expensive/not to your liking for any reason. That's how i understand it anyway.

ArcSys updated their UNIEL site with the picture of pre-order bonus IC Card Sticker

Retailer bonuses are apparently "Coming Soon".

Geez, I wonder when we actually get some interesting new info >_>

Yeah, hype down the drain. A sooner release date will make most people happy, like scratch off a month or two. :3

Game play for Nanase would be more hype then just some card at this point, then we could go through half of the community screaming I'll main or sub her.

Isn't there one more character being added for the PS3 ver. they still have to reveal?

I believe the official statement is 'more than one new character'.Could be more than one,but it's most likely one additional character.

People who have played unib or uniel, how fast is it compared to GG or KoFXIII? Those games really are at my limit so I'm hoping here it wouldn't be faster.

The commands are of course simpler for every character so that should bring the difficulty down a notch.

From what I've seen, it's slower than GG, but faster than KOF.

take what i said with grain of salt but it seem to fall in the middle.

for starter the game movement isn't as frantic as GG since air dash consume some resources so alot of battle take place on the ground. While it is no doubt slower than GG it at same time space controll is just as important since 80% cast can attack you from half screen to 3/4 screen with very fast attacks you must respect. The action does seem faster than KoF but kof is very aggressive game while UNIB not so much thou. Though there are some character who can apply KoF like rush down.

You are mistaken my friend. Assault in the ground ("hyper hop" like) or in the air (airdash foward) DON'T consume any resources since EX-late update (september of last year). Your info is at least 8 months outdated. And even in the original game, it consumed meter but increased grd.

And only hilda (one in 14 characters) have stronger pressure from 3/4 of the screen than from close. Just because Takuma have a projectyle it does't means he have better pressure from far away than from close ( with his command grab, jCD, staggers, etc). And this is the case for majority of the cast in unib.

But it's true that it isn't exactly a airdasher. Except long reach moves and projectyles, the majority of attacks are air unblockable. Even air normals are air unblockable (but you still can shield those). Just 2 of 14 characters have double jump. Just 2 of 14 characters have air throw. Just 1 character have air backdash.

On the other side, assault (the thing that looks like hyper hop) and air assault (airdash foward) are universal. 8 of 14 characters have air projectyles, and 7 out of 14 characters have some dive attack. So, it's not like you are so glued to the ground in the end. Comparision with snk titles (the last blade, kof, garou, etc) is inevitable.

Then I suppose each wiki out there is outdated, since all of them mention the meter cost of Assault.
