Sojoro Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 First time I'm gonna be getting both an import and the U.S. version. So glorious. TwT
Daverost Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Based Aksys. BlazBlue, Guilty Gear, Arcana Heart, and now UNIB.
ivanchu77 Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 I fucking love Aksys , can´t wait to play this, being them i´m sure the online quality will be decent at least
SolxBaiken Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 >>2015 Eh, guess I'll double dip as per usual, can't say I'm surprised but this is a welcomed development. still no idea who to play . . .
Spring_Raid Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Its coming to the US. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?p=119571332#post119571332 Granted a 2015 release date is kinda far, I'm glad to see it getting localized.
Akiro Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 I definitely did NOT see this game getting a localization......
heavymetalmixer Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 I definitely did NOT see this game getting a localization...... ^This. French Bread is known for not localizing their games (and for having bad english), but if Aksys is doing it, it's gonna be all right
Akiro Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 I'm really curious about how they are even going to deal with all the Engrish thats already in the game.
Jocelot Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Y'know, I had a feeling it would come out over here, Aksys is pretty beastly when it comes to localizing the niche fighters. Oh now for my MAD STRUGGLE, I wanna play it but I dunno if it's 'import it' want it or 'calm your tits and wait' want it.
Surf Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 It's really good it's coming over but I'm still buying JP digital. Maybe if the game was coming out in August or September I'd wait. But there's no contest between a 3 week wait to a 5-6+ month wait. I wonder if they're going to dub the game or just do subtitles. With it taking that long though, I'd imagine a dub is in the works.
Jocelot Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 That is true. It was my plan to use Death Chicken and fraud out some wins before people wised up but if I wait everyone'll get that head start. Damn. Oh man, maybe I should just stick with my import...
Tigre Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 At least the jp version is relatively cheap. Definitely grabbing the US copy, but digital jp is going to be easy/cheap enough. As far as them dubbing it, they announced they're releasing it but remember that Aksys isn't a huge team, they're probably still working on AH3LM to get it out in September, and i'm sure they have other work on top of it.

Oh yea that is true, forgot about Arcana. I dunno but for some reason I can't imagine this game dubbed, it just feels extremely weird to think about it But wow seriously 3 more weeks (actually even less than that, 19 days). Been waiting for this game for like 4 years and I'll finally get to play it, its crazy
Ragnarok_F4 Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 We really had some good news today, first Dengeki's release window and now this! I'll still buy the JP version since I will NOT wait 6 more months for UNiB. However, I'll probably buy the US version too to give support to Aksys, they're doing a really good job!
NeoStrayCat Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Well, it was to be expected one way or another, though the thought...another ASW fighter (yeah I know, french bread...) = another Aksys localization. The waiting game begins...
fiendmaw Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 I'm pretty sure this is the first localized French Bread game. And hopefully it's not the la-WHERE'S MELTY-st.Good news all around.I'm curious on what the price point will be. And I'm doubly curious if Nyu Media did something with FB regarding a PC port...
TAI-X Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Expecting and hoping the title will be changed to Under Night Inverse. Morons with their minds in the gutter will be making jokes about "that incest fighter" otherwise. Sticking with my import preorder because 2015 is too damn long to wait. If the localization is good enough, I'll double dip; if it's another lazy/rushed hack job like Aksys has gained a reputation for cranking out lately (no library mode in BBCP? fuck me!), I'll pass. I wonder if it will be digital only. The US market for retail PS3 games will have significantly shrunk by the time it releases here. Might depend on how well physical AH3LM sells.

Arc localized EX's extra content and CP internally (and they did a poor job from what I heard), not Aksys.
TAI-X Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Then Arc might decide to do the same for UNIB, since they're also the publisher. It's going to come out here well after Xrd, so they probably won't have their localization resources tied up.

It's going to come out here well after Xrd, so they probably won't have their localization resources tied up. Then why would Aksys know anything about it? They're the ones who localize the game, chill.
Kairos Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Dope. Hopefully this mean a scene outside of JP though unlikely Doubt there'll be a dub, but it's possible. Aksys does more than fighters and games like 999/VLR and GG2 got dubs, so we'll se. I guess if they feel it's marketable, they will.

And I'm doubly curious if Nyu Media did something with FB regarding a PC port... Ragnarok battle offline was localized ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ragnarok_Battle_Offline ). The problem of melty lies with typemoon, as always Well, it was to be expected one way or another, though the thought...another ASW fighter (yeah I know, french bread...) = another Aksys localization. The waiting game begins... asw is the publisher of it in japan, just this. Bloodrayne beeing published by asw didn't imply in it beeing published here by aksys. Even when they are the main developers in persona fg, atlus have done the job of localization, no?

I've been waiting for the same amount of time too and share those sentiments. I remember watching game play against the cpu with no character VA and still got hype lol.
