But I have to announce that I made second in the Youmacon 2011 BBCS2 tournament. I had to fight axis in winners finals and I sent him to losers. Then I had to fight my brother Chaos_Kalibur and lost 6-0... Either way, I'm glad that I improved to the point that MI sees me as a serious contender. I just gotta work on the Litchi match-up.

Moy_X7 Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 That 6C nerf is really going to hurt our combos. I loved doing mid-screen stuff that lead to the DP C loop. Something like... 5B (crouching hit) > 5C > 6C > DC > dashing 5C > DP B > dashing 6C > DP C > 5A > 5C > 2C > DP C. That will work near the corner but not from mid-screen like it used to -_- I can't wait to get my hands on him and see what I can whip up with the 6A and 214A combo options. I also still have a shred of hope that we can still do something after 6C aside from just 2D and 214C mid-screen. Expect the traditional combo video from me after about a week from the NA release date lol. I'll never get bored of playing as Jin. I said it before and I'll say it again... I'll stick with Jin until the end, even if he gets crippled by the nerf bat as he has now.

His combo potential looks okay, he lost some and he gained some. He still has some of the longest, non-meter combos mid-screen in the roster thanks to Sekkajin. Instead of 6C, we just have to work Sekkajin in as many combos as we can on ground hits and 5C > 2C > 2D on aerial hits. We lost some damage thanks to the 6C nerf but we get better oki with Sekkajin and I'll always favor oki over damage. We get a shitload of options in the corner this time around though and that makes up for it IMO. 3C > 214A > stuff into 4K in the corner, yes please.

Boring as in not looking fun to play, as in his matches aren't exciting to watch, its not like CS2 im watching tetsu do 3C>623A>5C>double 5B pick up, im not seeing any of that, it feels as though he hasn't changed much, and they took some of our stuff and didn't give him anything interesting in return. We lost D DP loops in CS2 and gained the C DP loop, nice trade for a stylish combo. The 214 looked boss before but the novelty wears off,as for 6A tbh it looks a bit silly, as haven said...i'm not seeing the real NEED to do it, which may be why only shirushi is doing it. And losing two of the more creative and inspiring jins (Tetsu and Kogatan) sort of tells the story. As i said...he doesn't look bad, but i don't care how good or a bad a character is,i just care about how fun they are to play. But his matches aren't even fun for me to watch at this point. Everyone knows i dont watch 90% of the shit i upload and when i do watch its 70% to be entertained, 30% to learn, at this point all im doing is learning. I'm not dropping jin, i'll find some way to make him stylish, i always do but damn. I'm in one of my fuck BB phases anyway, playin GG for a month usually fixes it but we'll see and if worst comes to worst...there's always team

He does appear to play weird but we all should be used to that because they always change Jin in somethe insane fashion EVERY SINGLE UPDATE... It's just more of a challenge to me, how faithful are you to this character? We all know Jin is a "Jack of all Trades, but a Master of None". I'll be sticking to Jin no matter what; I've been riding this train for way too long just to jump tracks, I'm here to stay.

Not saying i copy his combos, since i actually make up most of my own...but he was definitely an inspiration, i learned something new from him in literally every video and then modded it to my liking. When i wanted to quit back in CT i saw this pink jin in a random YT video just loling over everyone. And lol@10 6As lmfao

Other than that, you can go for the 4-way mix-up after 5B by doing a dashing 2B, 6A, throw, or IAD j.B/j.2C cross-up/IAD j.236D fake out. I just love the shit out of 5B... anti-air, AUB, pressure reset, mix-up, good proration and a very quick starter.

You've misunderstood me. CS2 jin? The most fun jin since CT CSEX jin is the one looking boring. And....a loooot of people think jin is boring, since CT lol. I think CS1 lead to the most varied styles though
