There is a reason why these guys are switching over, but the reason is why? Changes are too much, Jin is scrub tier, something is going on causing all these players to switch. Honestly, we won't know until we start playing with him so it sucks. Either way, I still see myself playing Jin along with my subs.

That nerf is not nearly as bad as the 6C nerf, we can still combo off of it on CH although no more j.C CH > 2D on grounded opponents. We just need better reactions for it now. j.2C still leads to dashing 5B on a regular hit, it's all good.

Jin doesn't seem like a bad character in CSX, I just think that the new Jin has alot less room for creativity and is really linear in all aspects of comboing, strategy, etc. That's why I believe Tetsu may have switched tbh. Just look at it, Tetsu was never one of the most textbook Jins around. He played the way he felt most comfortable, and now that he can't be as creative as he likes with Jin, he decided to move on. I'll also further that argument by mentioning Ren, one of the more textbook Jins, he really wouldn't have as big of an issue with linear Jin because he plays a very textbook style, with some hints of creativity here and there, but nonetheless, a very optimal, non-risk taking style. ..... but what do I know.

I usually use pink or the green CT color, but I got a request from my friend to just stick with the pink one. @Jourdal, damn... you beat me by a long shot then lol I started using the pink palette during CS1. I originally used black in CT but the CS1 black palette is ugly... I hate that hair. It's the same with the green palette. The green is cool, but the red hair throws it off (even though red and green are complementary colors, it doesn't look good on jin). There can be two pink jins... I'm cool with that.

My statement is just based on pure speculation, from the Jin matches I've seen, I haven't really seen anyone go above and beyond to just do something ridiculously creative but legit at the same time. Of course, my opinion may differ in the future. But that is highly dependent on me playing the character myself or seeing really legit creative things in matches. I haven't been following alot of Shirushi's matches so I'll watch some today and see if he found a way to have fun with Jin. @Hoshi, Jourdal, Shin: I main Purple/Black Jin, so..... just needed to get that out there. I've seen him messing with 214A and 623B > 6A, even though nothing above that. Hope they'll find some new practical stuff with 6C. Hovewer, it seems that Jin's 6C and 214B/C change made him more like a character to throw enemy into the corner no matter where he previously was. Logically thinking, Arcs imply that he should focus more on corner combos and stuff. That's kinda sad. Still, midscreen 3k BnB's with hjc. 2C > j.D still remain, so should not affect his gameplay so badly. And new 6C > ice car floats really long distance, that looks very cool. 3C > 214A and 6A combos are stylish too. Jin was not very "entertaining" character since CT (because of his "boring" drive compared to tager/carl/etc), so his main purpose is being ice-cool. Chris Chaos Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 I have found out my salty color is the Red pallet, I like yellow but when the salt and rage piles up, I will wear red. That means I'm out for blood, LOL! Not too many can make me wear that color thouth.
