Nearly 4.6K off a j.2C CH starter from the match start position. We in there with the damage in this game.

Mid-screen is a little vague when dealing with EX Jin, we need specific positions in mid-screen in order to optimize our combos.

Lol i finally got around to trying this, this is the best combo, nerf this character

j.B got nerfed pretty bad, the lower hit-box takes forever to come out. 6A is barely +1 on hit and harder to hit-confirm. j.C CH hit-stun is not as bad as I imagined but j.C CH > 2D is extremely situational. We can still get 4.5K+ off a stray 6C as long as we have 23 Heat before the 6C. 2D's Primer breaking properties are balanced by the frame advantage nerf; I deliberately create scenarios where I can spam 2D as much as possible after the opponent has used its Green Burst/CA.

Take the good, the bad, and all the testing in the lab and I say that we have a pretty balanced Jin in our hands. Not too strong but not too weak either, just right.

Yea i agree, my nerf statement was a joke of course lol. I wonder why i fail so hard at dashing 6C :( luckily i found two alternatives I'm comfortable with lol. For that combo after the 214A>5C>6C> i do dashing 623B lol. Adding an ice arrow makes this like...5.6K which is good considering you got the meter for free

One day, I swear I'll learn how to do those blasted j.214A wallbounce combos.

They are really simple, I went straight online without going into training mode in day 1 and was able to do it.

It's especially easy if you get a 6C confirm near the corner, then you can usually just j.5C -> j.214A into stuff.

I'm using stick, so I'm failing miserably at it. If I was on pad again, I could probably do em. :(

Why don't you just play on pad? If you're uncomfortable with sticks I don't see why not. I play on pad :o

Because I wanted to learn how to play with a stick. I figured I'll adjust to it eventually, but I've never played stick before in my life... so it's not easy. Other combos are much easier though. I tend to have troubles with dashing to the left and also when dashes are combined with quarter-circle rotations.

Lol what the hell did they do to Sekkajin?

I just got the game and played only for a little while, but the timing seems a lot different.

As in you have to mash it less than CS2, otherwise it'll keep on going after the launching hit.

This is gay, big changes are easier to deal with than minor stuff that you didn't even think about when doing them.

Also, any tips on wiffing DP C in loops? It's not that they're too high, I'm just too far away.

I know it's been discussed in the past but I don't feel like going through all these pages.

I think you guys said there was another option besides dashing 6C after DP B, that's where I'm placing my hopes : <

Sekkajin feels no different to me. They made it so you can hold C instead of mashing C, so maybe you're holding the last C?

For DP loops, the other option is to delay 623B after 6C. This brings you further into the corner.

My favorite. Combo.

By the way, there is still some time after 6B CH to dash before 6C, making enemy a bit closer to the corner.

Hello everyone and greetings from the Tsu forums, I have been planning on subbing or possibly even second main Jin for when I acquire Extend :D, I’ve said this to myself some time now in CS2 but never got round to it xP.

anyone would like to give me their thought on the current Extend Jin and how you like him?

random side note: My interest in Jin is cos he got similar traits to Vergil
