LunarSelenia Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Never played CS1 Tsubaki, I want Relius sooooo badly but I don't think he could ever replace Tsubaki. Whether she is low tier or S-tier, I will rep her no matter what =3
Tsubaki 5B Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 relius looks interesting i'll be sure to tell you anything about him or tsubaki when i get ex along with bat and hopefully kiba and others
LunarSelenia Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 relius looks interesting i'll be sure to tell you anything about him or tsubaki when i get ex along with bat and hopefully kiba and others lol we should bounce info off of each other, my boyfriend is actually going to get CSE when its released, so I'll (somewhat) have it XDD
Iza Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 I may also be able to get EX early (before release date) chances are slim tho, however im not good at gathering information if I do xD
BatousaiJ Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 I've got a small list of people that's importing the game that I'll be playing online for practice. They're gonna get their matches against me posted online whether they like it or not~ They'll make fine guinea pigs...
Airk Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 (edited) Sticking with Tsubaki, but protesting the handling of Extend by buying it used eventually, rather than new right away. Bite me, Arc Sys. :P Edited November 22, 2011 by Airk
Rhiya Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 I played through CS1 Tsubaki. That's why I'm not putting up with that shit again. When you're that low-tier, you're not even playing the same game as everyone else. They're trying half as hard as you and winning twice as often. It's not worth my time to keep playing Tsubaki if she's bad.

It's not worth my time to keep playing Tsubaki if she's bad. Nothing we have seen indicates that she is at a CS1 level of bad, merely at needless disadvantage. It's not that the nerfs are THAT terrible. It's that there was NO REASON for most of them.

shad0whiei Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 I honestly didn't find tsubaki THAT bad in cs1. Sure cs2 was alot better but I did just as well in cs1 against pretty good players. Guess it just depends on the dedication to the game itself? Even the worst character CAN be good with practice Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk
Iza Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Look at Kiba back in CS1 he didn't give a shit about tiers and still blew people up
Errol Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 The gap between A and D in extend shouldn't be as large as the gap was between A and D in CS1. This doesn't change much for me, I haven't played BB in months anyway.
LunarSelenia Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 I think BB has gotten a lot better when it comes to tier lists and balance, especially with CS2. With CSE, I still feel like it's somewhat a new game, I feel like there's room to discover new tech, and perhaps this is just me being optimistic about her....but I feel that it's not enough time yet to look at Tsubaki and evaluate her as being a crap character to never pick up. I do get a satisfying feel of kicking the crap out of people when they have a "better character". Work hard for my wins...even though I'm still getting bodied by certain matchups because I'm somewhat free. Just give me my 22[D] unblockables and my IADs and I'll still play her =3

I really want to see how much she really has changed first hand.

DP whiffing is what makes Tsu fun for me now, I hope there still good use for it ^^ EDIT: If they ever remove the DP whiff in whatever future version of BB im gonna be so sad Edited November 22, 2011 by Iza

Of course I'm sticking with Tsubaki. We've got good people here! I haven't made it a secret though that I'm going for KoF13 next though.
HajinShinobi Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 With CSE, I still feel like it's somewhat a new game, I feel like there's room to discover new tech Extend IS a new game..
LunarSelenia Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Extend IS a new game.. I just meant even though JPN has it in arcades for awhile there's still lots of room for them, and for us to find new tech o.o;; @__@;;
Errol Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 (edited) Lunar is still firmly in the bargaining stage. The Lunar vs Solar youtube matches are going to be a lot less interesting in extend Edited November 22, 2011 by Errol
LunarSelenia Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Lunar is still firmly in the bargaining stage. The Lunar vs Solar youtube matches are going to be a lot less interesting in extend Barganing...stage? Eh I guess I can see what you mean. Doesn't matter what stage I'm in I'm not jumping out that window D<. I'm scared of heights anyway.
Airk Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Extend IS a new game.. Unless you're in an arcade in Japan, in which case it's not, it's just an update.

That's why I'm not making any real judgments on anything just because there hasnt been any deeper discovery as of yet. People (like Dusk) want to haul ass because we cant rely on super easy 5D taps for charge among other things. Yeah the nerfs are bad but NOT horrible.
