Yea my bad, didn't add enough words, don't make them usable during netplay, rather not deal with major trolling. Don't make them tournament worthy. Is what I meant.

nah i say buff characters that really need help like Jonny and Bridget.

u can't be serious, You want zappa dog to be nerf, but we got characters like eddie with triple unblockables? Not to mention zappa is only C tier.:vbang:

I'd much rather deal with Eddie's strike/throw mixup disguised as an unblockable than a projectile that's selectively active and can be used to attack the opponent during blockstun.

Johnny doesn't need buffs, Auto-JI on ground Killer Joker and that's about it. His worst matchups aren't easily fixed, but he doesn't have that many worse than 6-4 anyways.

sounds like fun to speculate changes

system changes

Slashback revise (preferably longer active frame/reduce tension gain)

FRC slightly easier (not for all but some are just intensive)

EX characters playable (it'll be interesting to see how they develop)

Character balance

really none, its really good the way it is.

wasnt zappa against jhonny considered 7:3 (8:2 by some folks)?

just wanting to point that changing some frc window can potentially change the way that they work

i know that it would be nice to have every frc on the 3 frames window, but for that to happen, many moves would need to change or the speed of the game should be decreased a little if they want to keep the strategical aproach of them as they are now

ZA vs JO is still the worst matchup in the game, no question about it. The reason for it simply is that all of Zappa's summons, not just the dog, are incredibly difficult for Johnny to deal with. Unfortunately, it's just the way things have to be, as small changes to either character won't really do anything to change that.

Thankfully, the only other matchups worse than 6-4 for JO are TE, MI and VE, all of which are still way more manageable than the ZA matchup.

I do not think they should add them now, since they were never in arcade version they might be lazy balancing them, I had a friend that played both characters and they are ridiculously good, they would need to be nerfed quite a bit to make them non game braking. Or if they are in, they should not be playable during ranked play. And there is no point in adding them. But I heard netplay will be delay 4 or some shit, not sure where the info is coming from, but to me that means the game wont be playable online.

A bigger Slashback frame window for Online play might be nice.

Also May is mandatory Slash mode.

i would kill if they add some option to use the slash and reload chars on ac+ like they did on gg slash

Slash Sol would be too godlike. If any character deserves to be revised to their Slash variant, it's Eddie.

Defense and/or Guts nerf to Potemkin. He'd still keep his ability to be a huge threat by simply being -there-, but as he is now, against some characters the matchup is ridiculously skewed in Potemkin's favor due to the amount of risks one side has to take against him, for a very small reward, and for how many risks Potemkin has to take comparatively.

I'm sure any Chipp or Bridget player knows exactly what I'm talking about. 40 seconds of the Chipp or Buri doing amazing, dancing around Potemkin and making great reads to deal about 70% total damage over a bunch of tiny combos. Then they either mess up once, or Potemkin guess right once, and they lose 40% of their life, get knocked down, and if they guess wrong on oki they lose. It's ridiculous. Higher damage characters like Jam or Slayer would still have problems against him, because he'd still keep all his tools and damage, he just wouldn't be able to tank blows as well and would have to be a bit more cautious against the rest of the cast.

Also fuck unblockables.

oh man i would love potemkin nerfs

how about changing the way people fall from slide head

so instead of me not being able to place mats with roboky... i'd at least fall onto the mat so i can at least build some meter before impending doom

if anything they should buff the health of chipp instead of nerfing potemkin

also give me the ability to teleport in air :D

Yeah, Potemkin is easy mode against Bridget if Bridget is playing safe.

And I think if there is rebalancing done, the game would not really take off. Example: ST HDR.
