Is that not good enough? The unblockable takes time before it releases and they won't be able to release it on reaction to your Kishuu.

mid block string UBs are easy to fight against if they are crazy enough to commit.

on wake up the situation gets really really tricky and mistiming kishuu will get you hurt worse than just taking the UB, also considering she can release it before it even goes into ub is also what makes it a dangerous guessing game especially from the distance she can use it at.

Just hit her, lol

But seriously, idk if the command throw is better than the UB or not, but one thing sor sure, they need to give Tsubaki (and Makoto) some love.

It's hard to choose between the UB and the throw. The throw is probably faster, but can be jumped unlike the UB, so not too sure. Tsubaki style pressure with a command throw to worry about seems a bit scary to me, but I have not really seen what it can really do with her pressure.

currently tsubaki UB lets you set up an almost vortex

haku can get up late but she can vary the timing

wake up shippu...... does that really work

I like the command throw a bit more due to the 2 free charge. It really helped fix one of her biggest problems, not being able to be aggressive while getting charge at the same time. The UB will be missed, but at least you can do a ghetto "UB" guard break with Install 22D lol :v:

it's frame 1, so i don't see why it wouldn't

unless her UB is like 10 frames meaty

i think it would beat it out since it is almost meaty but tsubaki players might know

all you can really do is get up early/late so its a 50/50

Well, it's not hard to see the what/when, like when I'm watching a replay or whatever. I'm just trying to figure out why it's always called mash.

non-IB 5A > 720 tsubaki out of her 5B > "fuck you for playing low tier"

Monkey see monkey do, sadly.

Only one way to find out :eng101:

Meh, I just GB the UB if I still have my Burst. Other than that, there's not really much you can do against a well-spaced, well-timed UB. You might try and back dash it as a last resort option but good luck timing that and not getting caught by one of the four active frames.

Personally, if I had to choose between an UB that requires character specific meter or a command throw that's available at any time, I'd go with the command throw.

Not that it matters since Plat has both of them, even though the command throw has a laughably long start-up and the UB is limited to two uses, requires luck of the draw to get it as well as 50 Heat :vbang:

yup

and Lack of UB is probably going to hurt the most vs Tager and vs Hakumen. Other stuff changed so that maybe it is reasonable in CP anyway, but in EX, tsubaki vs tager is a good 90% about how you use the unblockable.

I still have to see how the command grab really affects things. 960 damage. It is kind of like Hakumen's stomp overhead.

Command grabs work miracles for your pressure.

A command grab that nets charge is the most beautiful godsend for that character, because it solves one of her biggest problems (being aggressive and charging are currently diametrically opposed, but you need charge to get damage to make pressuring worthwhile) while making her pressure scarier.

One on One we were just peachy. When other people came in it got shitty.
