The thing about using the camera to confirm is that I don't tend to check screen placement until after I hit someone if it's not already obvious, because I want to pay more attention to actually, you know, winning neutral.

If I have to put any effort into telling where I am on screen, something's already screwed up.

How do you win neutral without knowing where you are on the screen? Knowing how close I am to the corners and how close the opponent is helps me decide what my options are and what I should do in neutral.

I've been playing for so long I just know how much distance my combos do.

That and Rachel just has retarded corner carry so training stage is okay in my book.

I'm more concerned with where my opponent is/is going relative to me than where both of us are relative to the screen until I hit.

The space between us is more important than the absolute point I'm at on the screen unless I need to avoid backing myself into a corner.

EDIT: And the screen is so large in BB that backing myself into a corner is less of a concern.

as lambda? it looks like it would work if you weren't near the corner, but since youre near the corner you get hit by 5bb. you don't backdash on wakeup in the corner as lambda, just tao.

Theres like 3 frames of invincibility. Its really easy to meaty lambda out of a backdash so I stopped doing it. I learned the hard way that I'm not playing tager

anywahs GGs sezuki. I played wayyy past my limit so as you saw, I just stopped trying after the first 10 or so matches and just autopiloted. (Its never a bad idea to work on your autopilot playstyle anyways) (I only had like 20 matches in the room though)

It has 5 frames, which is pretty good against a lot of moves (though it is limited to moves with around 20 or more frames of recovery)

thing is a you have to backdash right when your opponent's active hitbox comes out or else you get meatied regardless. I just wait for an overhead and grab my opponent out of it or wait for a jump and 2C it. or an obvious grab and gravity fatal it. or 5A moves I know I can, or just counter them.

I know. It is just a matter of timing. I see no reason to not try it out in matches for fun. I have nothing to lose after all

But it also has 5 frames of extra recovery in exchange for the distance it puts between you and your opponent. Being in the corner negates its advantage and just lets your opponent recover before you do.
