I feel like anyone using anything else than a lagless monitor/TV to play fighting games doesn't really take it seriously...

Then again this is a netplay thread :v:

I use a 42" 3D TV.

I've been using a 17" CRT computer monitor for BB

Use my LCD for everything else, though

How is this possible?

beats me. the ragnas that come to my room usually are of a lower skill level, or merely pockets. not much for me to learn from. o__o

@Cross - i'll add you when the TV isn't being hogged.

I used a Vizio until people made me feel bad for using it. I changed to an Asus monitor and now I have no idea how I used that Vizio for so long...

I knew you were teching throws better. you liar

Shame on you for using that dreaded...thing!

I used to use a vizio too but then I played the first ASUS monitor my brother got...I was able to do 1-2F links with Ragna much easier than before and suddenly Tager bnb's was piss easy.

Got my own and here I am.

I don't think you play better on another TV unless you just haven't gotten practice time with it and aren't used to it yet.

Given it's a functioning TV anyway.

I have a asus monitor but I play all my games on my big led tv because... it's a big led tv instead of the asus even though I know the input lag is better on the asus.

I plan to switch over and practice on the asus before tourneys and etc though.

That's what I would do.

whats the biggest tv with the least input lag.

That's hard to say. I'm sure you could find just about any size with little input lag if you made sure it was the right "kind".

For me personally I'm using a 7 year old 42" LCD TV and I'm pretty sure it doesn't have noticeable input lag. Guess I'm lucky I guess, although I do have the Asus monitor but I just use it as a regular PC monitor.

I get to enjoy the game's nice graphics, and can't imagine playing it on a tiny SD tv. But at least the Asus monitors are a decent size.

If you set a LCD TV to game mode, does that reduce the input lag? I never really notice any on mine so I was curious.

That's what it was designed for at least. Can't tell you if it is true or not cause all tvs are different.

Ah well, at least it gives me some peace of mind.

It noticeably improves input lag.

I can't play on my 50" Bravia any more after getting used to the Asus monitor. Kinda sad that the damn thing is sitting there collecting dust since I do nothing but play BB and KoF XIII nowadays. I'd play Bayonetta on it but that game demands precise inputs for the perfect parry/evasion bonuses.

That reminds me, I have to buy Bayonetta AGAIN!

Screw that, save your allowance for P4A lololol.

Also, GGs to Not So Angry Star's room. Getting banned was probably the best thing that could happen to him. His neutral, execution, and pressure are improving if ever so slightly. lol like I said, the time he used to spend bitching is better used in trying to get better.

I'll be able to get both when I get P4A. (which I pre-ordered lol.) Besides you telling me to get P4A sounds like you want a target or something. :kitty:

I knew something was different about Star when I played him after his ban.

ggs to all the wild people i played last night. shit was crazy as hell.

Like early this week.

It was the greatest thing to happen to dustloop in a long time.
