Master Of Chaos Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Do we know whether or not Terumi's going to be playable at TGS? Would be sweet if we could get the entire cast playable there.
TD Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 how was she not good she wasn't "not good", she just had a very incomplete feel to her. like, she still hit very hard but her hitboxes were pretty trash. 5c and 236a were also slower, being two of her defining neutral pokes it was more difficult to get hits. in general, mu was a decent bit harder than she is now. oki was good but IB being +5 at the time hurt that down the line. corner oki was pretty terrible imo. OTG super ender, was 3b2146c which was more difficult. she had a few good points of course. hit hard, good (though gimmicky) oki, faster steins. cs2 fixed all her problems while slightly nerfing steins and GB ability, putting her in top from then on. *** looking forward to kagura, especially if he has a projectile or two. or at least be able to deal with any situation.
FatalCounter Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 (edited) What more were you expecting for Kagura? He was designed as a simple character. I have to disagree, yes he is a charge character, but even Mori stated that in order to play him efficiently, you have to deeply understand his normals, play defensive with his charge moves, attack and open up with his drive and switch his stances carefully. This is not an easy character at all. You are right though, he might be easier than Kokonoe. She looks very complicated. So hopefully from tomorrow, we gonna see how his normals work and differences between stances. Edited September 17, 2013 by FatalCounter
SolxBaiken Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 Apparently Sony is supposed to have a 20-minute presentation on CP on the final day of TGS (9/22 JST)
Kurushii Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 USD was nice enough to translate the Kokonoe article from Famitsu http://shoryuken.com/2013/09/17/more-information-on-kokonoes-fighting-style-in-blazblue-chronophantasma-released/
Myoro Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Rapidly rotate joystick to increase Tager beam duration? are you TRYING to make me break all of my controllers arksys? that said thanks for the info Kurushii!
Blackwolfos Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 I cant get over how amazing that scooter dash is. Also love how she brings out giant tools for normals, TGS can't come fast enough. Really hope somebody gets some decent footage.
Dawn of Musou Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Thought it was said she uses a kickboard for dashing? Doesn't matter though, a scooter is pro. Loving that 360/720/1080 reference with the laser super.
TD Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 the amount of space she is going to control... she looks very powerful and in-depth, easily looks like she's going to require some strong decision making mid-match. not sure how to feel about her dash. shes's short and it does look cool. unlike other dashes she doesn't bend her upper body at all, and the scooter would probably raise her vertical hurtbox if anything. not sure how it works yet, maybe it doesn't or has some different properties. knowing kokonoe, the latter might be true.
Dark Ranger88 Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Using that distorion is going to be like Mario Party 1 all over again. Her normals seem weird to me though. Her B attacks look powerful, like they should be C attacks (I know all we have are screenshots, I'm just saying). And her C attacks look like really strong drive attacks (e.g. Ragna, Makoto, and Azrael drive moves). Looks like her dash would be slow or have really slow acceleration.

Yukikaze Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 The BB and GG stage events on 19th, 21st and 22nd are they repeated or is it new information each time?
Tokkan Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 (edited) The BB and GG stage events on 19th, 21st and 22nd are they repeated or is it new information each time? Probably just repeated. http://dengekionline.com/elem/000/000/704/704544/ The Dengeki stuff are stage events. They're apparently for Arc's 25th Anniversary. All the stages events at the Dengeki Booth are going to be streamed on Niconico. Edited September 18, 2013 by Tokkan
Putin Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 I'm guessing in the stage events they'll give us new information on the game and mess around (it's probably inevitable with all those guys on stage), but what about the other ones? They're just events for the attendants, giving out dakimakuras and shit?
Volt Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Does anyone know where this will be streamed?

I finally have a reason to buy this game! Jk. The article was helpful, thanks Kurushii and USD.
Ctrlaltwtf Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Lots of CP info up on Jiyuna's twitter right now, take a look: https://twitter.com/jiyunaJP
RurouniLoneWolf Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Lots of CP info up on Jiyuna's twitter right now, take a look: https://twitter.com/jiyunaJP Nice find. Kagura's JD teleporting him to the ground sounds pretty nifty. I'm sure this will lead to some pretty interesting looking combos, maybe interesting setups too depending on the recovery
