SoWL Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Ah, Isuna does it again! Let me add to the chorus of grateful voices that is sure to follow. I actually thought that the loketest was supposed to be over last Sunday, so this is a great surprise.
Darlos9D Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 As I've heard and think that Tagers OD also is nerfed, it wouldn't surprise me. Since the start of this loctest? Because last I heard it was sounding pretty neat, with D moves getting auto wallbounce and stuff. The sort of thing we need to actually get bigger, scarier combos in OD.
Isuna Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Since the start of this loctest? Because last I heard it was sounding pretty neat, with D moves getting auto wallbounce and stuff. The sort of thing we need to actually get bigger, scarier combos in OD. I don't remember if I read it in the changes thread or on the actual JBBS but, during the first two loketests his OD forced magnetism on opponent. Imagine Tager having the ability to get 10 seconds or more of magnetism which you cannot avoid. I am not entirely sure that they removed it, but I think that one time I saw his OD today there were no sparks at the opponent. The problem I see is that while whatever his OD does, it would be great in Extend, but the combo-crippled Tager in CP cannot really use it. I hope time proves me wrong.
Darlos9D Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 I think the way it worked, last I read, was that the OD didn't force magnetism so much as it had its own unique constant pull, whether you used mag moves or not. I don't think it was really strong, though.
TPPR10 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Do you have any footage on Taokaka, Isuna? I would be interest on seeing that myself.
Calamitus Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Do you have any footage on Taokaka, Isuna? I would be interest on seeing that myself. Dont listen to cats, only Hazama deserves absolute attention

Or Have, as is have fought/seen? Anything interesting you've noted?
Fujiwara Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Only one Platinum video And look what happened to her. Though, she was doing a lot of dumb stuff...
Calamitus Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Thanks for awesome vids, Isuna. Sound quality is much better then before. Looks like they did not let down with remixed soundtrack. So, release date is 22 November? Short waiting but painful.
SoWL Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Good thing that the music is actually audible this time, even though it's still not perfect. I'm sure I can hear the Sector 7 theme in the Azrael vs Tager vid, since they are on Tager's stage, but the music doesn't resemble Motor Head at all.
kirbster Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Thanks so much for the vids Isuna, youdabess. At first I looked at your list and I was like "no Rachel? Aww... maybe there will be some Lambda" and then I remembered D:
sparkaura Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Darn, rachel continues to elude me. Why rachel whyyyyyyy!? Thanks for the vids though greatly appreciated.
Digital Masta Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Sorry guys, the four guys who were playing versus did not play any Taokaka or Hazama. Do have: Ragna, Jin, Noel, Azrael, Arakune, Bullet, Makoto, Bang, Platinum, Tager, Valkenhayn, Litchi, Carl, Relius No have: Hakumen, Hazama, Taokaka, Tsubaki, Amane, Rachel There were no Hakumens or Taokakas on my end either. I do have Hazama Updated my original post with todays (final day) footage http://kyushufgc.wordpress.com/2012/11/12/2nd-blazblue-chrono-phantasma-location-test-fukuoka-taito-station/
SolxBaiken Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Ahhh, it's like X-mas came early~! So I saw in Isuna's Bullet vs Jin video, Jin would always opt to barrier block (usually in the air) raw Lock-On dives, and a raw dive clashed with his DP .o.
TPPR10 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 >No Taokaka footage Awww.... All I want to see is her new moves in action. Is that too hard to ask?
suna19 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Based on the Ragna v Plat video, Dead Spike dash looks punishable
SolxBaiken Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 o.o at Tsubaki's new ground projectile and throw I may still play this character yet, too bad OverDrive didn't get to do much = w=
WolfCrimson Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Yooo..... Yoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyo. I think I just saw something really interesting. Negative penalty seems to deplete your barrier gauge completely. Watch this part:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wRkyTOWmN_U&feature=player_detailpage#t=77s And you'll see Valkenhayn, while constant;y walking backwards, suddenly goes into 'danger' and his Barrier gauge is completely gone.
suna19 Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Hmmmm, I wonder if that means that negative penalty no longer has it's own damage penalty and it just puts you into danger state

Oh wow, that's pretty interesting .o. nice catch! Also shoutouts to buffed intros on Howling Moon and Weak Executioner~
SoWL Posted November 13, 2012 Posted November 13, 2012 Don't forget Bullet Dance having the best intro ever now.

Holy shit, Negative Penalty is going to be a bitch this time around. Not only do you eat extra damage but you're prone to getting Guard Crushed instantly or eating AUBs.
