I don't see how order-sol can make a transit into this game since he's massive using of frc.....RIP HOS QQ

Same way that I-no, Ky, Sol, and pretty much everyone else will, with adjustments and redesigns abound.

He's more likely to be cut for story/scheduling reasons, in my opinion.

I would actually figure if anyone gets cut (and Ishiwatari said that would happen), he's probably the first to go.

Sin, Dr Paradigm, and Valentine might be in the game as new chars but no Dizzy?!?!?!? *flips table* She better be in the console release or something!

Now i'm confused why they even bothered themselves to re-design some characters for Vastedge (unless they're planning to sell new costumes for them as dlc)

...Blitz Shield? We Jewpuncher now? Down + two buttons that aren't D. Costs 25 meter, and appears to cause clash, given that Ky's got the recoil he has if a light move clashes with a heavy. Doesn't appear to be usable while guarding, so I guess it's a "get the hell away from me" move when someone runs at you and you don't know how to beat them out.

And yeah, RC section says "either 25 or 50" so my old theory that FRCs would be back, but you can whiff for 50 to make it easier for newcomers might be true.

Blitz Shield looks like it can be done while standing (with just two attack buttons), crouching and jumping

TLDR:

RC consumes either 25% or 50% of the Tension Gauge.

Clash system reworked: "Normal Clash" → "Clash", "Repel" → gone, "Danger Time" is now random and can be rarely triggered by a Clash.

Blitz Shield replaces the Repel scenario from the Clash system. Performed by pressing :d: with any two buttons that aren't :dbt: while standing, crouching, or jumping. Creates a brief shield that Repels an incoming enemy attack. Consumes 25% of the Tension Gauge.
