i just want to see someone RC while the opponent's attack is still active and run into the hitbox

In one of the fb videos Ky RCs only to get hit by May's H.Dolphin in slow motion.

...Didn't think about that when considering the animation. Trying to RC a move later in the active frames to avoid getting punished might end up getting hit anyway...

Have you noticed any other changes to Sol this loketest? Other than DI Tyrant Rave chip damage, DI input, and loss of tension after DI? I'm really curious if he is still stunned/negative penalty easily after DI ends.

also random thought, wondering if you can YRC air BR to reach farther/extend air combos like old air BR FRC? air BR YRC>jD>Kudakero maybe?

I am not in Japan right now.

So Blitz Shield is neutral Heavy+X, has to be neutral, right?

i just checked and i guess its just those inputs neutral to BS standing and down + those inputs to BS low

So no obvious BS option selects, that's good. In fact, that's kinda a really subtle drawback to BS.

But the throw/FaultlessDefense OS is still in from the first location test, iirc?

Do you actually have to BS low to BS lows or does it just change its hitbox?

i was under the impression that you still would have to block accordingly (ie: that low moves would beat a standing blitz shield) but maybe someone with a deeper understanding of this could clarify.

On the System page it only shows H + Any Button (with no indication of a direction) and 2H + Any Button, so I would imagine 4H + Any Button would still be FD. Probably why low BS is 2 instead of 1.

afaik its always been like that? thats common in every modern fighting game

you can throw jump startup in ggxx (you can't throw jump startup in sf4 or blazblue, sure)

According to this video you're throw-invul starting on frame 2 of jump startup.

That is my mistake. All prejump frames has throw invul.

info from JUN's twitter regarding Millia:

- 2 hit Tandem Top + Purple RC after hitconfirming is pretty strong

- RCing at the very end of her throw animation seems to work well, the opponent falls down slowly and she can get a full combo off it.

- If you land on ground during jD's active frames Millia can follow up with 2HS

- 6P and c.S cannot be jump canceled anymore like in +R

- even if you mash Lust Shaker the move will always end at fixated number of hits.

- Purple RCing her Winger makes the opponent wall bounce

There was a stream with 1 match of Millia vs Ky at nico today in really nice quality. Wanna see it again

Millia has interesting animation on tandem top, disc literally falling down now.

Hitstop on CH is kinda big, but other than that speed is ok.

When players enter into Danger Time there is timer at the bottom of screen. Duration of DT is 10 seconds. Hitstop on Mortal Counter is HUUUUUGE.

Other than that, players mashed 6H, 3H, 5D, so there were no more interesting details

It seems that BGM theme changes to Holy Orders III when Ky loses his ponytail, lol.
