floatwater Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I'll only care when my dad Sakamoto gets uploaded again and stops dodging the internet. In other news standard Bnb is 2k? wwww
WolfCrimson Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 HARA has good combos but is ass in everything else, potofu's pretty much the same thing, naru just sucks balls, and kaqn's the best ever (our lord and savior etc.) Yeah ok but my main point still stands... we need people like Sakomoto to see what Ragna is truly capable of.
Tong Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Kaqn's pressure is unique, who else 6D j.D or 5D twice in a row...
MashThat5A Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I did 6D>j.D to Dora 4 times in a row~ And I do 5D multiple times in a row to Noel!
TITANIUM BEAST!!! Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Ragna will always be called braindead because people are somehow unable to divorce the idea of "easy to play" from "easy to win with". Doesn't matter in the long run. Is it really that hard to find footage of good Ragna, or is it just hard to find footage of good players in general? Maybe our standards are too high? As far as kaqn goes, I once heard him described as basically being the best that a scrub could ever get. Still a scrub, but a maxed-out, cream-of-the-crop scrub.
Tong Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Even good players eventually lose... It's rather hard to set a standard specially considering that your usual favorite player loses sometimes, and then a never-seen one wipes the floor with everyone. Reason why some find Kaqn overrated is simply due to the fact that he has more footage than anyone else, and he's been playing since CT. Eventually then, people get enough of him and need to find another Messiah to hang on. They're all enjoyable for me though.
Skye Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Kaqn has always been entertaining for me. He inspired me to get into CS2 Ragna.

mAc Chaos Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 I'm surprised so many good players are squeamish about getting recorded.
Sekusen_Crimure Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 I'm surprised so many good players are squeamish about getting recorded. It's because they know that someone, somewhere will call them not good.
Ctrlaltwtf Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 I'm surprised so many good players are squeamish about getting recorded. I've saved tons of replays but I rarely ever upload them...I just watch them and think they aren't worth watching. Either it's just a lot of "luck" on both sides, or it's one person continuously getting stomped, neither of which looks fun to watch to me. I've filled up my replay slots on all three games.
mAc Chaos Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 That's why I stopped saving replays ages ago. I think most players that don't want to get recorded though is another story; they're afraid people will see their style and beat them or something.
Fluck Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Some arcades just simply don't bother to record - this is the case for Souji and Kirisame's arcade. And it's a real shame too, since their players are so good.
Sadeyo Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 I'm waiting for the next installment of BB and GG before I consider recording again, it be nice if UNiB had an announcement for a release date as well. As for recording I don't mind if anyone watches my videos and picks apart my combat (or others) in order to beat me, I like forcing myself with varied approaches if my current style of combat don't produce results. It's a rarity that I see that critique thread barely used.
Fluck Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Also another thing about D Divider in CP is that if you do trade with a jump-in, you're gonna win that trade cause you should be able to continue with a huge FC combo after. But if they just block you're fucked obviously. Best Ragna is Kirisame, smartest fish is Kaqn
Skye Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Some players get nerves on camera. Someone told me this was Souji's case.

BlackYakuzu94 Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 News to me, granted I've stayed off these subforums. Ya know, for how shitty vanilla DbD seems now, you may as well just keep it as a BK exclusive move, at least then it's got some usability.
Elochai Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 i thought that was old news Well then. I only pop in here every now and then, so I had no idea this was already seen. I'll just excuse myself.
mAc Chaos Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 > dbd blockable what the fuck, thats defeats the whole purpose of the move
heavymetalmixer Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 > dbd blockable what the fuck, thats defeats the whole purpose of the move That and having just 1500 of damage (700 minimum), makes it one of the worst DD of the game (if not the worst).
