The day 1 scrubby Eltnum 'Takes the Lead'. Enjoy the video and don't worry about critiquing, I know how horrible I was and how hard we were both mashing. For christ sakes it's day 1, expect some better performance in the future (like a month from now).

So would you guys say she can be played passive-aggressive? Or is she the type that has to constantly be on offense to build momentum?

From my experience, it feels like you wanna play it safe with whips and gun shots until you get in, and when you get in you should never stop pressuring.

Does Merkava have a weird hitbox? Off most combo paths where you do the d.C > 421B > 5A whiff > 2C I can't seem to hit Merkava because he techs after the 5A whiff into 2C. I'm consistently getting it on Orie, Hyde, and Waldstein, but it keeps dropping on Merk. Is there a delay somewhere I'm missing

We seriously need to organize and share whatever information we can about this character.... no this game in general and it seems like the Eltnum board is doing a good job at that so far, hopefully my other hopeful character (Orie) will pick up as well.

Interesting little thing about her air command throw

 

You can TK the A/B version if you're close enough to the opponent, but I don't believe you can TK the C version (well you -can- TK it, but it will whiff) Anyone figure out a way to TK the C version and not whiff it?

Anyone got a better assault combo? The one i had in my post turned out to be CH or GRD break combo only.

 

I'm doing Assault j.C > 2B > 3C > j.BAC > d.C > 421B > 22B > d.C > 22B > d.C > Reload

Wait, so GRD Break combos have different properties? Thats when the opponents side of the GRD is all cracked right?

 

Actually it gets CH hitstun proprieties, i.e a CH combo would work on GRD break combo (and yes it means on vatista too).

These are combos where the starter is breaking GRD tho, not if he was in grd break already.

Exactly, 22[A] doesn't exist as far as I know and it wouldn't make sense that 22[A] shots 3 bullets.

Edit 2 : Apprently only 22B

 It's standard Senaru combo. He doing it a lot on videos.(And very often drops combo)

With the combos with the YT Links you really should list whether or not they are off High Counter, Counter, or off Nomal hit. Some of those are impossible off a normal hit.

Yeah, well since i didn't have the game and was just going off videos, i didn't know if CH was required or not. I've changed some, if there are any others then post the combos and ill change em.

I was just trying out random stuff in the lab with her, and it seems like you can get a combo off of her gun super. You have to get the reload perfect and then run forward and 3C into a combo. It is tight, but it is feasible. I'll work on optimizing it but any help is appreciated.

5A > 2C > 5[C] > 421B > j.BC > d.C > 421B > 5A whiff > 2C(1) > 22B > d.C > 22B > d.C > Reload

Having trouble with the final d.C. I can never figure out how to get the consistent d.c > reload because the final d.C is always dropping. I'm not sure how proration works in this game (If it's based off of time or the starter). If it keeps dropping should I try to do the combo faster or is it really just a hard link.

I'm having trouble landing this combo from a 5A as well. I can get it consistently with a 5B starter, but not with 5A. The last d.C keeps whiffing. Any advice on landing the d.C into Reload?

Trying to get the hang of this combo, but I don't understand when you should hit with the j.[C]. Rising, falling?

5A > 2C > 5[C] > 421B > 6 > 8 > j[C] > dash C > 22 > dash C > 22C~C
