Anne Posted April 16, 2015 Author Posted April 16, 2015 Didn't Goro play Koko for a while?In 1.1 he played her for a bit, then just disappeared. Doesn't change the fact he was winning tournaments with her in CSEX and CP 1.0. He kept going until there was no more hope.

Frame data is normally distributed independently of the mooks, the mooks are just publications of already public information. If you're looking for a specific character chances are that information is already out on the internet in some JP wiki. Consult the character forums.

It's a game made for hard workers so it's worth a look. ――得意キャラや苦手キャラはいますか?ドラ 苦手なのはタオカカ、ココノエ、カグラですね。全員低姿勢の技が強くて、立ち回りでしゃがんでいることが多いんですよ。バングがジャンプ攻撃を当てたとし ても“しゃがみ食らい”になるのでリターンが少ないんですよ。とくにココノエは、レバー右下+Cのリーチが長く、ヒット時のリターンも大きいんです。あれ をぶんぶん振られるとそれだけで辛いですね。あとはアラクネもきびしい感じです。バングの“立ちD”が中段攻撃をガードポイントで防げなくなったので、 ジャンプ攻撃を見てから対空するのが難しいんですよ。“しゃがみD”で迎撃しても“fマルg”を出されるとどこに“空蝉”でワープしても確定してしまった り、ジャンプ攻撃から着地でオーバードライブを出されても負けてしまいます。正直、この組み合わせはかなりどうしようもないと思っていますね……。 Do you have any characters you are strong or weak against? Dora: I don't like Taokaka, Kokonoe, and Kagura. All of them have strong low-profile moves, and are often crouching in neutral. Even if Bang lands a jump attack on them, since they're crouching the return is low. In particular, vs kokonoe, 3C's reach is long and on hit the return is large. Just using that a lot makes it difficult. Arakune is also difficult for me. Bang's 5D no longer guards against overheads, so it's difficult to anti-air on reaction. Even if I use 2D, if f of g is used, it doesn't matter where I teleport, I'm guaranteed to get hit. If the land from jump attack and use overdrive I'll lose too. Honestly, I think this matchup is rather helpless.. ――トレーニングモードなど、個人練習は何をしていますか?ドラ アーケードのトレーニングモードは相手の受け身の取り方が一定なので、“起き攻め”の練習はしていないですね。コンボ練習やセットプレイの研究など、個人 練習といった感じです。あとはレバーの持ちかたの確認ですね。冬になると手が荒れて絆創膏とかを付けるんですが、それが原因でレバー操作に影響が出るとレ バーの持ち方のフォームも悪くなってしまうんですよ。そうすると、中段が立てなくなったりするんです。じつはこれが闘会議でも出てしまって失敗してるんで すよ。まだ手荒れが治りきってはいないんですが、いまは個人練習だとこのレバーの持ち方部分をもっとも重視しています。 What kind of things do you do to practice? ( training mode etc) Dora: Arcade training mode doesn't allow you to change how the dummy techs, so I don't practice okizeme. Combo practice, Setplay research, and personal practice are what I do. Also, checking that I am holding the stick properly. In the winter, My hands get rough and I end up using band-aids, and that can influence how I handle the stick or my form. As a result, I can end up not being able to stand up for overheads. Actually, this came up at tokaigi too. My hands still aren't fully recovered right now, so this is what I prioritize the most for personal practice.――本作で注目しているプレイヤーはいますか?ドラ いままでの強キャラは「これをやっておけば勝てる」という行動を多く持っていたんですけど、今回強いと言われているニューやジン、ヴァルケンハインでもそ ういった武器は少ないです。防御をちゃんとやらないと安定して勝てないので、強キャラ使い全般がプレイヤーの腕で安定させられるかってところに注目してい ますね。期待しているのは“どぐら”さんです。彼はブレイブルー歴が浅くても頂点を取れる男だったので、今回の難しいバージョンで結果を出せるのかという 部分が楽しみです。いまはいろんなゲームを並行してやり込んでいるようなので難しいかとは思いますが、だからこそ逆に期待してしまいます。 Are there any players you are noticing in this version? If you can't defense properly, you won't consistently win, so I'm looking at whether all strong players can stabilize and win with their own skill. I am looking forward to Dogura. Even though his experience with BB is short, he was able to stand at the top, so I'm excited to see if he can produce results in this difficult version. It's a game made for hard workers so it's worth a look." This part in particular interests me. I've pondered my own authenticity, and have often wondered if my success thus far has been the result of the character I've played. Seeing that, between all the games I do play, I'm only capable of playing one character at an acceptable level, it's always been something that nagged at me a bit. I hope the game truthfully is how Dora sees it in that regard, and that I can put worries like that to rest. Anyway any change that makes a game "more competitive" in that aforementioned sense is a step in the right direction I think, and these interviews have certainly gotten me hyped. Also glad to hear the lower tiers can still compete. Even if there is a marked difference between S and D tier, it looks as if nobody's "unplayable" so to speak. Shoutouts to Mabukabu, he has been working hard. I've watched him ever since RYO went Ragna (so roughly when 2.0 started) and even after RYO came back to Rel. He has been workin' hard from the looks of it and is 20X better than when I first started watching.

That's actually kind of interesting. Example is Tsubaki doesn't get 2.5k, corner carry and sliding knockdown after a DP if she spends charges in 2.0 but instead just gets very little damage and a knockdown right in front of her regardless of resources spent. I wonder how much this applies to other characters.

I see it as one of the main differences between East and West when it comes to fighting games. That's another discussion though, so I'll leave it at that for now. I think that's something every serious player should ask him/her-self at some point. I'd weigh in on this more, but that, too, is another discussion. In any case, I'm relieved that the once bottom tier characters, Bullet and Makoto, have received a tier boost by two notable Japanese players. I tend to gravitate toward mid to low tier characters anyway. The interview has me hyped for Extend's release in NA. Now I don't know which character(s) I want to play with. I was quite surprised by Dora's comment on how he sees Arakune as a big threat to Bang.

Yen is weak right now compared to USD and the exchange rate hasn't been this great since before the big 2008 crash. Getting the PS3 or PS4 non-Azrael mousepad versions of the preorder on amiami which are still available are 5240 yen plus 940 for air small packet shipping or 1200 for superior EMS. 1 dong gets you ~119 yen which is awesome so that brings the price to around 52-54 dollars or probably near 54-56 or 55-57 because of foreign transaction fees that differ depending on your bank. This is the untaxed price, though. You can also just buy some PSN cards off japancodesupply and set the game to predownload for 5800 yen (which is a guaranteed 6000 yen spent due to the nature of the cards leaving you with a near useless 200 yen in your Japanese account) right now so you don't need to wait for it to get shipped. The usual premiums you would see on the cards now bring them up to the 1 USD = 100 JPY exchange rate that you are probably used to seeing, which pretty much kills what you think you'd save on shipping by a bit because I think you aren't taxed on PSN card purchases. You still save, but you gotta go through all the shenanigans.

That brings down the price to a bit more than 57 dong, but I guess this shouldn't matter since you don't mind the price.

That's at least what this site says (preload begins 2 days before release, although it doesn't seem that BBCPE is unlocked at 0am JST but 7am JST).

I've wondered about that, because unless he gained something to make up for his horrible lack of mobility and slow normals, then the struggle will be real again. Maybe I'm missing something....

I thought he got faster run speed without needing to accelerate, projectile guard point on Wyvern, possibly faster normals with reduced recovery on a few of them, and the ability to cancel out of his drive into OD/CT which saves him a significant amount of meter when dealing damage and allows him to spend it more efficiently. Probably should get a second opinion from actual mains, but I have been reading and hearing that they feel he is pretty much the same character.
