  1. why don't you use the matchup thread for this and ask questions there? i don't have enough hakumen xp to give full matchup advice, just things to watch out for.

  2. that sounds very risky. wouldn't a 6C be a better choice as a backdash punisher? it'd touch them if they decided to block, but it would lose to her dp, super, and maybe if they superjump. oh yeah and to random mash. a 2D would lose to all of those things too, but it'd also lose to just blocking and other jump option. you'd also be in crouch counter hit state for the whole time. her B and C tackles have startup before the hit actually comes out so you can hit her out of the tackles. i think that'd be your best option to stop a tackle happy lambda. you can actually 6B over lambda's B tackle.

  6. litchi players were considering dropping her during the CS1 location tests because all her old combos didn't work anymore... look at how that ended up. EVERYONE will have to learn new combos no matter what. that's what happens with patches. in short, listen to Mightfo on this.

  8. ガープラも削る You sure that doesn't mean removes guard primer? The katakana there says "gaapura", which might be shorthand for guard primer.
  9. it basically means you use it only when you have > 50%. Either that you use the move to pester the opponent. actually one thing i was theorizing was using it as a safe way to primer break airborne opponents. we'll just have to wait and try it for ourselves before we can say anything for sure.
  10. Aginor mentioned soemthing very interesting to me. in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DFRTlj2fhoE#t=2m04s from the first location test, the 6D looks to be taller than in CS1. So does that mean the hitbox is bigger? was this reverted in later location tests?

  14. if you go into teh air above him, he can hit you with 2C for a fat combo, so don't be too reckless with jumps near him. outside of that, just stay out of his range, and anytime he walks/sledges into your range, punish with j.C and 5C or maybe your dragon punches if 5C would be too slow. Hit confirm into combo. Otherwise just lame it out
  15. it's 2 threads for the same topic because quite frankly it's about 2 different things for 2 very different audiences. i don't know what's so unhelpful about splitting up the info between stuff for each side of the matchup. interesting idea though, i'll think about it.

  18. when you do a DP, jam the stick in the last direction (3). that's the only advice i can offer.
  19. colored usernames: No. i'd rather do it srk style with a 'premium' banner above their names. larger av size: Yes. This seems to be the most popular feature. sig banner: No. I've seen this on many forums and quite frankly, i think theyre tacky and annoying like autoplay music on myspace pages. I think increasing the character limit on sigs would be acceptable. Name Change: I already do that for anyone who asks... perhaps it'd be worth it to make this a pay-for service haha.
  20. speaking of gimmicks, here's one i mashed out in training mode earlier today: near the corner forward throw > sekkajin > 6C > 236D, then do your mixup. the principle of this is the same as the 3C > 236D mixups vs tagers, except this works vs almost everyone.
  21. this is already on my todo list. feel free to post suggestions for a premium membership, but i have no idea when i'll be able to get this up and running. other things on my list include: movign to a better server so we don't have to be so stingy on space ads to pay for server
  22. it's funny, when trag first made the default dustloop colors, he said that he got SO MANY complaints. now you guys are saying it's good?
  23. this is true in Guilty Gear AC (and Slash, and #R and XX iirc), but i don't think it's true in CT or CS1 (dont know about CS2 yet obviously).
  24. yeah there are no set standards... i guess we need to discuss this in the staff forums.
