I'm getting mixed messages here. All the character subforums I care about (Bullet, Tager, Plat) love the new changes, but apparently, they aren't that big and the balance is horrible? I can't help but think of it as a knee-jerk reaction, though it's probably way too late for that. While I am looking forward to trying out the new Bullet on my PS3, what's the point if there's no one to play against? Because of all the reasons people were mentioning while discussing the potential disc release? Such as including the Vita bonus modes, pushing Lambda that probably won't sell that much as DLC, new BGM, all that jazz. Mind you, I've been on the patch side of the argument all along, but ASW can still just go for a quick buck and try to earn as much money as they can by publishing a physical copy. And then maybe make a 2.1 patch or whatever.

GGX trailer is an irreplaceable part of our culture. Not watching it is the same as never learning that the Earth turns round the Sun.

Riptor's a girl, actually Kan-Ra looks like he has everything I love in my characters, including Merkava's j.C. Too bad I don't have an XBone.

I'd say that it comes down to Faust's pokes actually having some blind spots on them, while Zato can cover all the space he wants as long as he coordinates well with Eddie. Zato also has slightly superior mobility tools, better ways to spend meter, way better combo damage... Interestingly, I don't think Faust's random factor matters that much here, since his strongest point basically comes down to f.S.

I don't think it matters how quickly the sales have dropped, it still sold pretty damn well (around 500 thousand copies, AFAIK). Also, the way they approached the balance patches does clearly show that they care about the game's competitive aspect and don't just throw darts at the changes, though ultimately the thing that stands in their way is the graphics engine, and I don't see them changing it anytime soon.

In my experience, Lantis is actually one of the more lenient studios when it comes to piracy. Some studios mute your videos if you dare to use their songs, but Lantis is content with just marking the song as theirs and moving along.
