As I stand now I'm free on weekends so Sat/ Sun should work for me. This might change when I get a work study job though. Max is usually working Sundays not sure about Sat/ Thurs. My place is tiny/filthy, and I haven't tested my monitor for lag yet, so I would prefer to meet at Max's. He just moved to an apartment in the "Jamaica Plains" area, I think there's an orange line stop nearby. It's really sweet that Mynus is going to Japan. Is studying abroad? I'm hoping to do that next year.

Back from the depths of house searching, moving myself/ others, and school entrance paperwork I have returned to hang with people once more. THIS TIME IN MASS! Chie with fireballs. . . weird. Does she get fiery stuff with her enhanced Persona or something? My ideal team would be Naoto/Baofu, but I don't think they're putting any Persona 2 characters in there. Actually scratch that, I call Heat from Digital Devil Saga 1&2. They better put him in as a secret character. For his instant kill he rips off his opponents limbs one by one savoring the taste of their hot blood dripping down his throat, then, before they can die from shock, Heat goes into Beserk Mode rips out their still beating heart with his Agni arm, tearing out a few chunks of it with his teeth, before swallowing the remaining 80% of meat in one bite.

Actually I should have said Amherst area . I'm really moving to Belchertown MA, which is also one town away from Amherst. It took me like 3 weeks of searching to find a place near UMASS Amherst (small but cheap room). So yeah we should get together to play some GG sometime, same to the rest of you Western Mass players. I like your title;) If you're looking to play Gear in Boston you should hit up Max/Noisetank (Ky) and Asian Dave (Jo/Po). I travel down to Boston occasionally, but will be doing less of that after moving to Amherst.

Guilty Gear isn't just about throwing. It simply has throw mechanics that work the way that they should. Watch out for KOF13; I heard that's another game people want to play that has zero frame throws. Edit: Godlike:thumbu:

Why's hosted some meetups at his place. Pinball Wizard Arcade in Pelham NH has a weekly fight night going on Tuesdays, and will be holding its first tourney Saturday August 6.

Alex, You're right that I shouldn't have brought up Nazgul's dvd, and Nazgul's/Stryfe's custom sticks in the forums. It was inappropriate for me to talk about them publicly; discussion via pm or phone would have been the right way to go about it. I'm sorry I brought them up here. Well, there is Nazgul's SBO GGAC 2007 DVD which you have had for several months. There are also the custom arcade sticks which both Stryfe and Nazgul commissioned about 2 and 1/2 years ago, as well as the parts Nazgul gave you to build his which he asked to be returned. . . Alex you're a very friendly guy; I've often seen you teaching players combos and game mechanics they haven't learned, and introducing new players to veterans of the NE scene. You're fun to hang out with; you bring hype to the games you play during both casual meetups and tournaments. But, you are not very reliable. Thanks, I'd love to have some help learning Marvel 3, and I would be very grateful to borrow your copy so I can get some practice in while I search for my missing disc. I was too tired to make the trip to PWA yesterday. I have one that I could lend you, but I live 2 hours away from you so it would be a long trip for you to pick it up. You also have a poor track record when it comes to returning things to people, which makes me a little hesitant because I would want it back ASAP.

I caught most of yesterdays episode. I didn't know that American GG tourney's had their roots in anime conventions. AKA's discussion of Millia's strengths and weaknesses was very clear and well explained, as was his play by play discussion of what was going on and why, during the AKA vs Elvenshadow FF3 match. I'll pass this on to Ril and Lord Pang Tong (Who both play Millia). Actually I'm going to recommend this podcast to everyone in the NE GG scene.
