Also you and A3 need to have your epic $600 MM Regarding the team tourney: Few people are voicing their opinions, but the few who have seem to want a 3v3 on Saturday. Anyone with anything to say regarding teams should speak up soon, so we can get this straightened out before SB weekend. My tournament organizing experience is limited to running a local tourney on paper brackets, but I'll help run GG teams any way I can. (Kamui Moon offered to run it on his PC, but if anyone can bring a laptop, that would make things more manageable) Also I think 5v5 regionals would be sweet (although I'd have to join up with NY or somebody since too few NE players are coming to this)

Damn, I've still got a lot to learn to catch up to you. I was especially impressed with your use of Youzansen frcs to extend your air combos, or avoid attacks. ( My favorite was the baiken mirror part around 2:08, where you jumped in with j.h then youzansen frc to bait Youshijin and land j.k into dustloop) Great video Shinjin, Your execution is godlike!

Just booked my flight. To avoid skipping class I'm leaving Friday Night should arrive around 11pm. Just need to figure out a hotel room now. Glad to see a good turnout for this. Watched most of the team tourney with my shitty pc Strobe Light style. Shoutouts to Mahouko for coming mad close to taking that first round against A3Relgion, and doing the Bridget cosplay. A3Religion: I agree with Kamui, carpooling sounds like a much more economical option. With 2 sedans you can comfortably seat 8 people for the trip, You'll have the freedom to go to Columbus and return whenever you want, and most importantly it will save you a lot of cash. Kamui Moon: I'm more than willing to help out running brackets/ calling out players/etc.

3v3 ggac teams would be awesome. We just need someone to run it. I'd be willing to, however I have very little tourney running experience/ would have to use paper brackets since I don't have a laptop. So, if anyone with good experience/ bracket running skills/ a laptop wants to run it that would be cool. (not Flash or Marn) Also when would people want to do the team tourney? Personally I'd prefer not to do it Friday, because I have two classes that day and would rather not skip them. Saturday would probably be best for traveling people that are planning on coming Friday or leaving Sunday. It would be good to decide this soon before the cost of tickets go up. Also Biscuits/ A3Religion: are any other NY players coming to this? It's kind of hard to keep track of whose going since there's no public prereg list.

Tutorial videos would be very useful. Recently a local BlazBlue player asked me to teach him the basics of GGAC. I agreed to help him learn, but I'm really not the best at explaining game mechanics in an easy to understand concise manner. It would help a great deal to have good tutorial vids for GGAC which I could point him towards to fill in the blanks, and Hellmonkey you certainly know enough about the game to do them well. Just go for it

Sleeping over at the MindHiv3 was a blast. I was kinda bummed out about the small turnout early on Saturday, but it ended up being lots of fun despite that. I used to live there as a child, then my family moved to the slightly warmer state of NH Thanks to blueNINE for tipping me off to the NorCal Install stream. Did anyone else see it? I feel terrible for Digital Watches. He lost to Hellmonkey in GGAC singles grand finals. Then he lost to him again in the norcal vs socal 5v5, and finally he challenged Hellmonkey to a ft4 MM only to get trolled by dodgemonkey's Potemkin 4 games in a row. So the meet up at NoiseTank's was a blast even though we only had 4 people. NoiseTank: thanks for having us over man, your room could use a bit more elbow room though. That Mexican place you showed us was really good; great food within walking distance is a definite advantage of city living. It is good that you have been fully converted to stick. Vierge: Thanks also for putting up with my amateur singing. Your blocking has improved, and you're starting to get the hang of dolphin loop. Work on throw mix ups (cross up j.2H feint into OHK. horizontal dolphin whiff just out of range into OHK/dust mix up, etc), varying your air tech direction/ timing, and air to air (jump H is very mean, and the most frustrating thing about fighting May). IllogicalDreamr: I'll see you next time dude, I wanna do some Baiken mirrors so I can get a feel for that matchup. It really messes with my head. 4 player Scott Pilgrim was Fantastic! We haven't figured it out yet. It turns out that NoiseTank won't be free until around 3:00 PM, so there's a possibility we might wait to watch the movie another day (to leave more time for games).
