Yeah 2440 or something with 50 heat. Why it annoyed me to see tao getting 3500 off gold with no heat or anything. Tsubaki gold bursts have always been weak of course.

I can't think of any reason to use 6b.

note, if you have trouble confirming the range on the 236x series after 5bb5cc, then just do 22c. Dropping that there is bad if your opponent realizes they just got pressure for free. replace your corner combo 6cc j 214d with 6cc 623c j236a whiff j214d.

SBO is hilarious. I would start to consider it being a valid measure of anything if it were at least best of 3 matches. single match moves on, give me a break. When you actually watch the finals and see how many mistakes were made.. it's hard to take it seriously. all the same, bring on the nerfs, this board is getting too popular.

I think 623c whiff was found right away? remains to be seen if you have to do 'easy' corner combos. the change to using 623b whiff is something different but kinda what I want. diff combos, but still difficult and interesting

Agreed with this. You can follow up j214a easily even if you hit the j214a pretty late. You won't be able to do anything else in whatever they're calling the next version of BB anyway.

I'd look at the height. Delaying jcc really late is how you get double IAD combos off a 214d or j214d starter, for example. I think 5b is more stable if you don't delay all the way though. Maybe because I'm remembering occasional tech-outs before the jcc because I hit them too low to delay it that long? the jcc delay for a 5b followup is pretty short though really. Maybe 1/3 to 1/2 through the cancel frames? For 2c followups you have to get it as late as possible. I haven't played in a month though, so ......
