    I have the hunch that 63214K~3P works as a TK Starship. We all know that Roll leaves the ground quicker than a jump.This COULD be the better option. I hope Jaison corrects me on this if I'm inaccurate.
  5. 2]D[ is a 104% multiplier only in a combo. 2]D[ has a 90% Starting proration value. 3C has a 100% starting proration value. Dear god, Have them guard 2]D[ and break their defense with 3C. The DMG will be much greater after the full combo is finished.

  11. GG's Carl payers. This is for my records: (2) Rounds, (1) Match,No Astral's. Each player does (1) match of (2) rounds. Having (2) matches of (2) rounds leaves more room for tiers to take affect and hinders match-ups. The winner fights the next opponent as the loser steps aside for their teammate to enter. BlazeBlue [CT]: 3v3 Same Character Tourney. RULES & REASONS: Double Elimination: Not Round Robin While coming this far my biggest priority is running a fair tourney, while finishing before everyone loses interest or motivation. I would prefer a Round robin but feel skeptical at this moment. Traditional Team style w/ one twist: No EVO-Block style. The format will be weak vs weak, as people lose; their adjacent teammate steps in for the challenge. The team who isn’t completely eliminated wins their bracket. While deciding this I thought of the alternative as being much more time consuming & one player could be holding up the “team”. I want to prevent players on the same team fighting different characters. This entire tournament is focused on match-ups and this would take way from that goal. This current format should help unite players on a team to focus at one match-up at a time. Brackets: Not random Given the circumstances of (12) teams, (2) Jin’s & (2) Haku’s, I decided to select the positions of each character to minimize the impact of (4) BY’s, Same character battles and ridiculous tough match-up on the first round. Face it: This game is ridiculously unbalanced and we all know it. This tourney will begin to tell us how bad the match-ups truly are. But it shouldn’t be on the first round that Haku fights Kune. Reflections & Analysis I plead (HIGHLY ENCOURAGE/REALLY WANT/THE PURPOSE OF THIS FUCKING TOURNEY/PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE) all players to hit-up the appropriate match-up thread before and after each tournament battle. DUSTLOOP.COM has an awesome database of match-ups and this tourney is like a take home test with your friends. People SHOULD be discussing why they won/lost and specific strategy/tricks implemented for the battles. People should NOT be losing because of a lack of information. USE THE MATCH-UP THREADS! TimeLine: First team win/loss deadline: JAN- 21st This is not just the low vs low match: This all matches of that battle. The Future If the tournament runs very fast & very smooth I will run a Round-Robin A.S.A.P. using the same player base. If this tourney goes smooth & fast I would like to run a 2nd Double-elimination tourney using the same player base. If this is more of a headache than it’s worth, I will run a regular 3v3 tourney and axe all the extra stipulation. First come, first served with an attendance cap.   18. Just theorizing here about the (2)hit 8]D[ that bewilders everyone: What if: On the first couple active frames of 8]D[-the "orb" has a larger hit box than the clap? This would cause the orb to hit first and the clap to hit second. Property is fall instead of launch. THIS- OR The "orb" is active a few frames before the clap... I haven't thought about how to confirm/debunk this yet. Just an idea.

  20. More on the Tager UB set-up. You need to walk ADA toward the corner more. Its critical that you get (2) hits of 623D. For it to work... I got (1) hit of 623D earlier and it forced Tager to guard 632146C on the ground. =( Also, You can no longer get "FREE" cross-ups on Tager while in the corner, BUT: you still cross him up if you Airdash while he is on the ground. DO NOT DO THIS ON CORNER'D TAGER: ..., 3C, IAD, J.2C INSTEAD DO ...3C, 7-jump, Airdash, J.2, Alle~can, 6A, SJ, J.C, J.B, J.C, Double Jump~Walk ADA Toward, J.B+C~8]D[ or ...3C, 2B, 6A, SJ, J.C, J.B, J.C, Double Jump~Walk ADA Toward, J.B+C~8]D[ If he does not throw break: the 8]D[ puts him in place for another J.B+C~8]D[.   21. I played around with the Tager/airthrow set-up. For some reason it was restoring a jump option and my 623D would always make me airdash. =( I eventually thought of whiffing a J.2C during the input of 623D, but have yet to try this out.   22. Jump Loop combos are tighter than I anticipated. If the J.B is to late you sail over the opponents head, also if your opponent is too far away, or ADA is pushing forward more than your 6B pushback. Basically, there are a few factors working together here and I haven't gotten my finger down as to which combination makes this the most successful. =? Anyone have input on this?
