  1. So today, I just had an amazing 20 minutes where I won every match no matter how good my opponent was, after those 20 minutes were up however, it was back to cruddy old usual me.
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8yzevvdsRM My 2 most hated matchups. How did I do?
  3. For 2C antiair, use this combo we found in CS2 (Still works) 2C(CH)>665A>6A>j.5DD>dj.2DD>j.214D~C>j.2C>2DD>214A>2147D>66A>6C>236C>665Cx8>2C>Air Swords Ender. Its hilarious to pull off.
  4. I play so much better when I'm trolling. Today when I tried playing serious, I kept losing ;~;. Then I started trolling and singing into my mic and then started winning again. I'm a horrible blazblue player.
  5. Instantblock anything possible Wait for a hazama 214D~A(or C) DP distortion>66A>j.5DD>dj.2DD>j.214D~C>j.2C>2DD>air swords>j.214D. That will probably be your main damage against hazama if he does any of that.
  6. And even just catching your opponent with an Oki in the corner will guarentee 4K more at minimum, with no heat used. This lets you build up to 100 heat for a hilarious double/triple RC combo. I prefer: j.5B(Overhead) or 2B(low)>[6]6B>3C>RC>5CxN>6C>236D>214D~C>214D>4~B>2147D>RC>5CxN>6C>236C>446A>Air swords>j.214D
  7. You mean to say that you haven't imported it and used gecko os to load it region free yet? Well, Lambda has literally everything except for vertical attacks and meterless DPs. That is pretty good. Also I prefer now ending my corner combos with 44B>2DD>TK>236D(Oki) In other news, 3C(Ch)>Gravity(Whiff)>662C>6C>236C makes for a hilarious midscreen combo.
  8. I think i'm only winning matches because I'm annoying my opponents my humming or singing rather repetetive vocaloid songs, causing them to screw up <.< Looking back at my matches, I'm pretty terrible compared to my peak in CS2
  9. True. He was probably as new to blazblue in general as I am to using relius. (Like, first 10 matches new)
  10. Alright, though since that combo builds 65 meter, wouldn't it be ok if I used it? i mean if I hit 100% meter, i will be wasting potential heat gain. Would I be able to omit the final 5C(2)>4D>6C>Distortion and just go 3C>Unblockable Reset? I can't play right now so I can't test it.
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AtWo9kDS20 (@ 6:31) I know I'm terrible at everything but combos, but how can I improve? (Also, I started trolling when I realized i could win regardless of how I played)
  12. Yeah I'll just do a dashing 4B when i have 50% meter then. I think i prefer j.214D>Oki to 1040 damage anyways. All my heat is gonna be used for RCing and CAing. Sickle mixup with J.B is pro.
  13. Airdash and then a direct D allows me enough time to 6D or 2C depending on range.
  14. I meant the gravity for full screen away pressure. Gravity holds tao there, Sickle Storm forces a block or jump. If tao jumps, 6D will force block, or let you do 6DD>236C. If not, well gravity will last long enough to let you nail tao with any other D again. Or shoot off a spike chaser.
  15. Gravity>Sickle Storm>6D? (Yes I love my 6Ds.) the 2C thing is situational, but very helpful. So I guess don't try to land it exclusively, but use it when tao is too close to safely zone.
  16. Dont try to hit tao. Now that 2C has head invincibility, time it and get a nice 2C CH.
  17. Jin does IIRC Rachel Carl Tao Arakune Hazama Platinum I feel like I'm forgetting 2 or 3 though. So about 50% then? and then a lot of the ones that don't, you rarely play against anyways.
  18. But I play better when i play flashy. I just don't do optimal stuff. I do a lot better at not getting hit though, so it works out better for me. Maybe its just my opponents losing focus due to anger at me not taking things seriously enough. my mixup that starts with 2A distances perfectly for 4B(2) though. if I do ONLY 2B, the first hit of 4B connects usually, giving my opponent a chance to react. I just like having that instant 4B(2) available. I suppose I could do that jump>airdash or grounddash mixup when i get wheel pressure. It DOES have options of airdash>high, Grounddash>High, Airdash>Pause>low, Grounddash Low.
  19. So. Almost every character's 2A is low, but lambchops's STILL isn't ;~;.
  20. -Your opponents were awful. Fair enough, though there aren't too many good players on XBL yet. -Using 2A or fullscreen 4DD during 236D oki is such a waste of opportunity, when you can go for great mixup with 2B, 4B, jumpins, feints and throws. I was playing casual and slow and didn't feel like putting any effort in with mixups and closeup game (when i used 4DD) 2A however, is amazing for mixups. 2A>5B>6A>2B gives you the option of 4B(2), 3C, or 2C which can lead to TK, jump out, 3C, or TK feint which can lead to even more mixups or pressure reset. -Still way too much random use of 5C. Like after airthrow you would just hit 5CCCCC as oki. When instead you could do great mixup/baits/crossunders/optionselects with (dash) 2B. Netplay =/ That few milliseconds of lag screws up my dash buffering so i just completely drop that oki option on netplay. Other random 5Cs though, yeah i can't break that habit. I like getting my opponent under 5C pressure because i'm lazy and like having time to slowly think. Its a bad habit and I constantly get punished for it. -Doing RC, j.2DD, 214D so often after your combos is an huge meterwaste. I'd only do that, if they aren't dead after a j.632146D when I have another 50% tension and it would kill them. I got bored after a while and just wanted to be flashy. I can upload older replays where i actually did those if you want to judge them. I've been ending combos with an air DD ender since way back in CS1. (though I play worse when I actually try due to trying to read my opponent instead of just trolling or using lazy mistimed mixups that cause my opponents to mistime high/lows blocks)
  21. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2AtWo9kDS20 Any comments? (3 Lambda matches, 1 Relius Match)
  22. new 6A (Airhit CH) combo: 6A(Air+CH)>236D(will hit 2 to 4 times only)>662C>j.2DD>j.214D~C>J.5C>2DD>214A>2147D>6A>6C>236C>6DD>2DD>Air Swords>Air Ender. Barely 4K but SOOO worth it.
  23. I usually use my gravity meter to hold haku back though. Maybe thats why my strategy works so well. And i dont normally stand around long enough to let haku get within 623A range. I keep the FULL screen away and just poke all game. If i see a 623A coming and i time it well, my 236A brings me back across the screen on the other side. then gravity. Then more poking. More often than not, neither me nor the haku lands a single hit and I win from chip damage from the pizza wheel.
  24. Here is what I would do in the corner (I haven't tested it yet so if someone could, that would be nice) 5CxN (Airhit)>6C>214D>5CxN>6C>236D>214D~C>236C>44B(2)>4~2D>Air Swords> Distortion Ender Midscreen: 5Cx8 (Airhit)>RC>[Optional 6DD depending on opponent height]>2DD>214C>236C>236D>665DD>4DD>4B(2)>6~2DD>2147D>6DD>2DD>Air Swords>Distortion Ender Yes, 4B(2)>2DD>2147D>6DD works midscreen. Your opponent has to be practically above you though. Also I love doing 2 236Cs in a row midscreen on any character. Its hilarious: 236D~C>214C>236C>236C>2DD>Air Ender.
  25. Why is the 2A>5B>6A>2B mixup so good? Dashing to 2A lets you have the correct spacing for 4B, 3C, 6B (For TK crescent feint OR 3C), or lets you get a free backdash but it shouldn't be as good as my opponents make it seem <.<
