  1. Heres a fun one to try: A combination of both my flashy ideas: 236B(Ch)>214D>5Cx1>6C>236D>66214D~C>214A>RC>Backdash>6DD>2DD>2147D>5Cx8>6C>236C>446A>Air Swords>j.214D Not sure if it works or not since, as usual, I cant test monday-saturday (Sunday is my playing day). But if it does, We just got us a super flashy corner combo that won't even top 5K damage with 100% heat AND gravity =D
  2. only when your opponent isn't held to the wall with gravity seed =P. its actually really easy if you do gravity seed before the 236C (of course the combo beforehand has to be quite short or your opponent can tech between gravity and 236C But yeah, thanks. That combo seems totally worth the heat =D
  3. right... fatal, ground hit. You only get the sliding backwards effect from a ground hit 236B/C in the corner. Also can you try adding one more hit to the combo I posted before? 236B(CH)>RC>214D>5Cx1>6C>236D>66214D~C>214D>214A>236C>445Cx8>4B(2)>2DD>2147D>66DD>2DD>air Swords> Distortion Ender.
  4. Oooh. Do an extra part for flashy things that can be done =D
  5. Heres one to test then: in corner 214A/B/C>236C>RC>214D>Back up a little>5C(1)>6C>236D>214D~C>2DD>2147D>5DD>[Op. 6DD]>2DD>Air Swords> Air Ender. Haven't tried it but it should work.
  6. uuuuh. maybe. In other news, corner 236B(Ch)>RC>214D is hilarious
  7. Yeah. I type so fast that I make plenty of mistakes, I don't really proofread either so...yeah.
  8. Very good zoning, combos were not exactly the most optimal. I see you landing an anti air a lot so heres a combo you can do: 6A(Antiair)>663C>214A>4~B>2DD>6C>236C>5DD>6DD>2DD>air swords>Air Ender 2C(Antiair)>5A>6A>j.DD>dj.2DD>j.214D~C>j.2C>2DD>4B(2)>2DD>Air Swords> Air Ender 2C(Antiair)(1)>Instant Air Dash>j.2C>2DD>214A>2147D>66A>6C>236C>6DD>2DD>Air Swords>Air Ender. Also for your occasional 236B counters on Tager, you can do this simple character specific combo: 236B(Ch)>66DD>236C>664B(2)>2DD>2147D>66DD>2DD>Air Swords>Air Ender And as for the TK feint, it adds damage (An extra j.DD>j.2DD), but only works in shorter combos. It also gives more meter.
  9. Here's a fun combo to try: 236B(CH)>RC>214D>5Cx1>6C>236D>214D~C>236C>44B(2)>2DD>2147D>66DD>2DD>air Swords> Distortion Ender. Also can someone try this variant? 236B(CH)>RC>214D>5Cx1>6C>236D>214D~C>66214A>236C>445Cx8>4B(2)>2DD>2147D>66DD>2DD>air Swords> Distortion Ender. 236B RC to 214D just looks soooo cool with the little circles from the 214D moving backwards along with lambda. Fixed Typo: 214D, not B after 236B Why am I so bad at typing
  10. Try this flashy corner combo? 214A(FC)>RC>Backdash>5DD>4DD>236B>66B>5Cx8>6C>214D>5Cx8>6C>236C>44B>2DD>Air Swords>Distortion Ender
  11. a normal gravity is the one I see everyone using: (Ground gravity)>4B(Both)>2DD>2147D>66A.6C>236C>ect.. (Air Gravity)>2147D>66A>6C>236C>ect. what other gravity combo should I use? I only know of what I posted above, my previous post, and the following: (Ground Gravity)>4B(Both)>2DD>2147D>5DD.236C>ect (Ground Gravity)>4B(Both)>2DD>2147D>5DD>6DD>2DD>Air Swords>Air Ender (Air Gravity)>4B(2)>2DD>2147D>5DD>236C>ect (Air Gravity)>[Opt. 6B]>5Cx8>6C>236C>ect (Air Gravity)>6DD>2DD>2147D(Or 632146D)>5DD>236C>ect
  12. Can someone try these combos? Midscreen: 214A(Fatal)>6~4B(Both Hits)>2DD>6C>236C>665C x8>2C>Air Swords>Ender. 3C>214A>4B(2)>2DD>6C>236C>665C x8>2C>Air Swords>Ender. This should do more than with the normal gravity combo.
  13. I should too. I've been playing MUCH better since I started using those backdash combos. The amount of bursts I've baited is hilarious. Everyone likes bursting after gravity, but my Backdash combos RC backdash off of gravity.
  14. Its hilarious when you use it to burst bait too. Nothing makes you feel more pro than backdashing that green burst and continuing the combo without any complications.
  15. Well I made up some flashy backdash combos: j.B (optional)>663C>214A>RC>Backdash>6DD>2DD>2147D>5C(1)>6C>236D>214D~C>236C>445Cx8>2C>Air Swords> Distortion ender (100% heat, 4.6K) 236B(Counter)>RC>Backdash>5DD>236C>6A>6C>5Cx8>2C>Air Swords>Distortion Ender (100% heat, 5K) Until today, no one has used backdashes mid combo. Now I want to do it all the time =D
  16. I still haven't improved at all over the past 2 weeks ;~;
  17. so much for that then <.< Can you do 66A>2147D there instead?
  18. After a midscreen 236C, you can do dashing 5C(x8) into a 3C if you time it well. Im curious as to what flashy gravity combos this can lead to.
  19. or if you have heat X>3C>RC>66A>214A>4B(2)>2DD>2147D>5DD>236C>236D>(End here and go for oki if you are far from the corner. If at or near corner, continue)>2B>2C>2147D>Lock opponent tech with 5C spam. Not sure if you can do a 3C after the last TK and then a wheel or spike oki instead. if someone can test it, that would be great. (I know there is more optimal stuff, but this is flashier)
  20. How much damage would that do if you replaced the TK with a 6C?
  21. I guess I'll just save it for tager then.
  22. Have you joined average rooms on XBL? unless you join rooms with specific players, XBL isn't all that great in general, with only a handful of active notable players you can get your ass completely kicked across the ocean by. edit: ok fine, maybe i just can't find anyone amazing due to so many rooms with connection quality restrictions.
  23. -I noticed that you tend to wake-up Calamity Sword in instances where it's not really needed (and I saw the opponent bait it out because it was obvious, but for some reason they got hit anyway sometimes). Try waking up and blocking more often or something, be ready for the opponent and try to counter assault if you really don't want to have them on you and you have the meter. Wake up Calamity Sword can help you out of tight spots, but doing it often leads to opponents baiting it out. I definitely need to stop doing that. -You don't have to do things on wakeup so often, it really helps to learn how powerful just sitting there and doing nothing can be. :D My first fighting game was brawl so its sorta second nature that I always have to be doing something <.< I can't really see standing and blocking as that helpful. Its probably just me though. -Is there a particular reason your barrier turns on and off rapidly? I'm not sure why you do it but it sets yourself up for TRMs pretty easily, which can be really dangerous against people who like to grab. Its my need to always do something. I just keep spamming 4AB or 3AB over and over for easy instant blocking. It does mess me up though. -You do get a lot of clips with the swords and so it'd help out if you capitalized off of them more (like instead of 6DD->2DD->j.c->j.DD->j.2DD->j.c->j.DD->j.2DD->j.214D, try doing 6DD->2DD->j.c->j.DD->j.2DD->j.214D©->j.DD->j.2DD->j.c->j.DD->j.2DD->j.214D). Once you get that down then opponents will fear the swords more and you can lock them down more easily. I definitely should, i used to but i kept messing it up ;~; -Should practice hitconfirming with 6DD, even when they blocked it you just went into 2DD and it whiffed sometimes. Should watch out for that because it leaves you open if they're at a fairly close range. I'd recommend either airdashing off of a blocked 6DD, or crescent cancelling to get rid of the recovery and get ready to do something else. Thats going on my to-do list definitely. It will help a lot against my hakumen matchup where all i do is spam 6D -Lambda has a lot of melee mixup options, so doing a different one than the 2A->5B->6A->2B->(Overhead/Low) mixup can really throw someone off. I know that mixup string can really nail someone not prepared for it, but using something different than what an opponent is used to seeing can sometimes win matches. Alright. Its just really hard for me to drop something I'm familiar with though. What would be some good mixups for non-pizza wheel pressure? I know a lot of pizza wheel pressure though, such as j.b(whiff)>airdash/grounddash works great midscreen, as does double TK feint>2B/4B, TK feint>Low airdash/grounddash, ect, but i don't know any other non-wheel pressure strings. in theory, would 2B>2C>backjump>j.2DD>tk feint>airdash>j.2c be good pressure reset?
  24. well XBL isn't near PSN in skill, so our matches last at the max of 300 seconds (5 minutes) Usually faster, so about 3 minutes tops per match. thats about 7 matches
  25. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8bcO0fAAV0 Besides blocking better, and using a DD ender instead of a RC double crescent, what can I do better? (Also, they do in fact tap the barrier button which is why my DP distortions sometimes hit through their baits)
